Ok all music lovers who do you prefer?
Dylan has influenced so many people -Bowie even wrote a song about him on Hunky Dory
For me though Bowie influenced me more growing up and Hunky Dory,Ziggy Stardust and Alladdin Sane are 3 of my favourite ever albums and so Bowie gets the nod from me🎸

            Easy one for me. Bowie.
Edit: Not sure I understand the thread title though.0

Love so much Dylan stuff, but Bowie had an incredible influence on me, so the South East Londoner wins.0

Not even going to think how you can start to title a thread about Bowie or Dylan and it turns to Steve Bradley.raytreacy69 said:Sorry about the cock up re thread -which sho have read Dylan or Bowie😀🎸
FWIW. Dylan wrote some great songs but if pushed I'd probably go with Bowie.......but it's as close as the Brexit vote.0

Both musical geniuses.Bowie influenced musical development and style like no other in my opinion. Dylan influenced life and society using his poetry, insight and intelligence.
Bowie was a Prince, Dylan is, in a musical sense, the King of Kings.
Bobby by a distance - my ultimate musical hero.1

            Bowie by a country mile.0

I liked their collaboration, The Times They Are A Ch-Ch-Ch-Ch-Changing.6

Bowie was the classy copier of styles and by far the greatest musician in my teens.0

            by my reckoning Bowie leads 6 v 3, hooray.0

Dylan is in a different league altogether. Needs to be compared with Shakespeare and Beethoven not Bowie.3

Steve Bradley was the Australian speed skater who during the winter Olympics speed skating final, breezed past the 3 other athletes, who were some distance ahead, as they all tangled together and all 3 fell over at the 2nd last corner, Steve just glided past the bodies to claim a historic victory.0

Oh and Bowie and Dylan are chalk and cheese. But it's Bowie for me.0
