Now that is a reaction!!!!!
Being 2 nil down was obviously the kick up the backside we needed0 -

@Dazzler21 you seem to have accidentally loled my post rather than writing a response. Would you like to correct that?Garrymanilow said:
Not quite. Rovers have had more than enough chances to have had more than 2 goals. A player like Pratley or Watson is essential, moreso in terms of the profile than the individual. They've both struggled this season but without them we lack a physical presence in midfield. Our first priority in the summer has to be getting in a mobile, powerful midfielderDazzler21 said:
No it's not. That's bull.Southbank said:Its is a sad truth about this squad that without Pratley or Watson at defensive mid, we are a pushover in defence.
A poor penalty to concede and an awful goalkeeping error are at fault today.
Also Millar toothless.

Reminds me of Jackson turning round a 2-0 scoreline here against CardiffLittleAddick said:Now that is a reaction!!!!!

Luckily after a bit of defensive frailty JFC gets fouled in our area and we have a free kick.

The referee has given soft free kicks against Stockley, he’s entitled to expect the same treatment in returnForeverAddickted said:Felt Stockley brought the free kick
But thought he was clever as the ref has been giving lenient fouls so dont blame him4 -
Was that the 5-4 game?ForeverAddickted said:

We have got to find another outlet other than long balls to Stockley, too many getting cut out0

HT 2-20

*sigh* Maatsen does some good work to hold off the player and keep the ball in, but then gives it away.

Great spirit from the players to come back, like a delayed new manager bounce1

All the weaknesses of this squad on display this half. Basic defensive errors, allowing the oppo to score from outside the box, dubious goalkeeping, inabilility to measure an accurate pass. We could have been 4-0 down.
Yet, 2 good goals and we may still be in it, extraordinary.3 -

At kick-off, I decided Jackson should be given the permanent job. At 2-0 down, I decided he would be a terrible appointment. At 2-2, I think he deserves a chance.19

Purrington - excellent idea if he was on the bench.superclive98 said:Callumcafc said:
Got any better ideas?superclive98 said:
So replace one shit defender with another shit defender, playing on the wrong side. That'll work.Callumcafc said:Need a change on the left side. Maatsen and Millar costing us goals with poor play. Get Deji playing left back and push Maatsen forward where his mistakes are further away from goal and less likely to be disasterous.
Play Purrington would be a start.
For tonight play 3 at the back.
Three (five) at the back is way too negative for this fanbase in their current mood.1 -
No it's 2-2. Have you not been paying attention?Dazzler21 said:Their defender jumped out the way of it.
0-0 at half time lads.

What has Barton got to be moaning at ref for?0

Why are we giving Millar gametime. He is woeful in the final third.
We sign Jaiyesimi on a permanent 2.5 year contract, so give him a run of games and stop giving gametime to an underperforming loanee.3 -
Well, about 10 minutes into that I felt like we looked better going forwards, but even more of an accident waiting to happen at the back.
And I guess the scoreline represents that.
Exciting game to watch at least. Think they will be more goals.0 -
Whatever else I didn’t watch that half yearning for Pratley or Watson.
JFC has daylight for player of the season in my view.1 -
Barton arguing away with the referee as they go off!0

HT, so towards THE COVERED END it is, but sorry to say should be without Stockley, he seems to be out of it, we need Chuks "The Beast" Aneke on for the second half, and maybe DJ for Albie on the right0
-
Well, aside from two individual moments of quality and the work rate of Washington it’s been pretty dreadful. I don’t think we really deserve it but somehow we’re back in the game. Hopefully we will now see the reaction in the second half that we’d hoped to see in the first half, but so far removing Bowyer has been no silver bullet.I’m tired of the old shit, let the new shit begin.1
