Oh, and my defence of Maatsen? It was a silly foul - he's trying to do too much on his own - but think about how much play we've had down our left compared to our right, that's all
Why are we giving Millar gametime. He is woeful in the final third.
We sign Jaiyesimi on a permanent 2.5 year contract, so give him a run of games and stop giving gametime to an underperforming loanee.
Rumour is that if fit - we have to play him as part of the loan deal.
If that’s the case then that’s poor management on our part.
Is there any substance to that “rumour”? I saw someone here speculate that it might be why Millar always plays and then it became a rumour, soon it will be fact!
The players are better than the performance portrays, it seems to be lack of touch and understanding of each others game, they are playing as individuals rather than a team
Need a change on the left side. Maatsen and Millar costing us goals with poor play. Get Deji playing left back and push Maatsen forward where his mistakes are further away from goal and less likely to be disasterous.
So replace one shit defender with another shit defender, playing on the wrong side. That'll work.

I know Purrington is not on the bench. I was saying that he should have been selected instead of Maatsen, who is a poor defender.
3-5-2 does not have to be negative, quite the opposite. Surely you play the system that suits the players that you have and gives you the best chance of winning. Gunter is poor at right back but would be fine in a three with Famewo and Pearce. Replace Maatsen with Watson, who would play at the centre, with Albie on the right of him and JFC to the left. Keep Millar to the wide left and have Shinnie or DJ on the right. Replace Stockley with Chuks and away you go.
