Great news.  I emailed Bayeuex Campanile last night to book a room (quoting my credit note number) and they have confirmed my room.

Instead of a walking the beaches of Normandy Michael and me explored two bunkers and a cemetery on the isle Schiermonnikoog. The last German troops left this island on June, 11th 1945 guided by allied troops.

The trip had to be postponed to 2022, 17th to 19th June, so a three day, two night trip. A space has become available. I have attached the itinerary. If anyone is interested please message me, place available on a first come first served basis.

FYI. The Camponile Hotel is now fully booked for the dates in June 2022 for anyone looking to join the party if someone drops out. At present there are still hotels available in the centre of Bayeux.
