I am off to a cocktail bar tonight for pre-dinner drinks, then dinner at a restaurant, followed by open mic night at my local pub, if I can get in.

    Unfortunately not... He's sitting watching Paw Patrol getting to enjoy three pieces of chicken whilst me and Leanne have to settle for two pieces each - Nice to see how the hierarchy works in this place eh!!

    I've set up a mastermind evening with our neighbours and nextdoor but one.
    Special subject questions are ancient history, water..he works for anglian, Lana del Rey, star wars, knitting and mine is uk football grounds up to mid 90s.
    Plus general knowledge round. Should kill an hour or so.

    I will be firing off a sternly worded email to Valley Pass bemoaning the shockingly extortionate £10 price they are charging for matches - from my Apple device, whilst eating a takeaway pizza and sipping a cup of  Kopi Luwak .

    Party planners have erected the marquee in the garden, a dozen over head heaters set around the grounds, both bars set up and smoker/BBQ going nicely.

    Couple of staff not turned up yet but as there's only 80 of us tonight - including two who have flown in from Brazil especially for tonight - we should be fine.

    The band have just started their first set opening with Rocking All Over The World.

    She's probably laying there fully aware and is relieved she doesnt have to pretend she's got a headache
