    Gunter: - 7 good steady debut
    Watson: 6 - great defensively, always picks up the second ball when its coming into the box, but offers nothing in the other direction
    Shinnie: 6.5 - some good touches, but needs time to gel with his team mates
    Forster-Caskey: 7 - drifted in and out of the game, good set pieces though
    Doughty: 5.5 - not the same player after the knock to the noggin.
    Aneke: 8.5 - MOM, absolute nuisance for the oppo the whole time he was on. More of that please
    Smyth: 7.5 - good energy and promising debut
    Bogle:6 - didn't have much opportunity to shine
    Referee: 5 - Some truely bizarre decisions

    Forster-Caskey: 8 (really enjoyed his approach in the whole game, was winning the ball when he had no right and really giving the Wigan midfield a headache.
    Doughty: 7 (the only defender who looked comfortable and had a lovely battle with the Wigan right-back in the second half)
    Aneke: 8 (His touch is amazing)
    Smyth: 7 (should be a good outlet for Shinnie over the season)

    Referee: 5 (left his guide dog at home)

    Amos: 7 - some good some bad. It’s the clean sheet that counts though.
    Inniss: 7 - No nonsense, solid performance
    Pratley: 6 - Average performance 
    Famewo: 7 - Did his job well
    Gunter: 7 - as above 
    Watson: 5 - worse game for us, gave the ball away cheaply, needs to stop racking up yellow cards
    Shinnie: 7 - promising signs. Going to be a very important player for us
    Forster-Caskey: 8 - best game for a long time. Much more involved that has had been.
    Doughty: 6.5 - prefer him higher up the pitch.
    Aneke: 8 - not his biggest fan, but was excellent 
    Smyth: 7.5 - good debut, very busy. The long throws surprised me. Underwhelmed when he signed, but in that performance could be a very shrewd signing.
    Bogle: 6.5 - not on long enough to judge.
    Referee: 5 - some really bizarre decisions.
