Bold statement, certainly easier now but still unlikely.LawrieAbrahams said:I wouldn't be surprised to see another max in the tournament.0 -
There have been 4 or 5 good chances.1

I cant remember who it was but someone on BBC the other day maybe Hendry or Parrott said he wouldn't be surprised if there was at least 2 this event as well as record breaking centuriesjohnnybev1987 said:

No crowd and the players are able to play like its a practice session and these players knock centuries in for fun in practice
We are at 41 centuries already lol1 -
Very true, but id need generous odds to back another really. That was the first time since what 2012 ( i think or 2013)paulie8290 said:

It might be easier if the players adapt and Lawrie you are right as there have been a few chances. I love a 147 so another one from Ronnie would be good, in the final frame of the final match ideally

This Maflin v Higgins match is very high quality, will go down to the wire and although i would back Higgins its tough to call.0
-
Both matches are a very high standard this morning. I keep flicking between the 21
-
I would , but work kind of getting in the way. Brought laptop down to have snooker in the background. It does look a good battle in the other, just seen a diagram of a shot Noppon just played to get out of a snooker, very impressive.Gravesend_Addick said:Both matches are a very high standard this morning. World Championship
Round 2
2nd Session
John Higgins 8-8 Kurt Maflin
Higgins stole 3 of those frames, including the final one with a fantastic break of 63 including a brilliant final red1 -
Higgins probably favourite now. Maflin has made a couple of mistakes and the standard has been so high that one mistake costs the frame.0

World Championship

Long way to go, i have a treble with Noppon +3.5... fully expect Selby to win still, it will be alright.paulie8290 said:paulie8290 said:World Championship

I still think its going to the wire, Higgins is defo fave, but still Maflin has shown great character/potting so i wont count him out just yet. 13-11 or a decider i reckon.LawrieAbrahams said:Higgins probably favourite now. Just seen Ronnie v Ding is over 3 days, i dont like that. With his consistency this will be a huge test, might lump on Ding just incase.0
-
Always great to see a 147, but Higgins is the last person i’d want it to be1

Interesting by Stuart Bingham there, Ref called a free ball, Stuart didn't think it was a free ball so refused to take it and just had the balls put back instead, Williams tapped the table to acknowledge the sportsmanship1
-
World Championship
Round 2
2nd Session(Mid Session Interval)
Mark Williams 6-6 Stuart Bingham0 -
Kind of ironic, i do like Bingham but he was banned for being involved in betting similarities with Stephen Lee who has been banned long term lolpaulie8290 said:Interesting by Stuart Bingham there, Ref called a free ball, Stuart didn't think it was a free ball so refused to take it and just had the balls put back instead, Williams tapped the table to acknowledge the sportsmanship0 -
World Championship
Round 2
1st session(Mid Session Interval)
Judd Trump 2-2 Yan Bingtao0 -
When Bingham was 5-3 down, i put him Yan and Gould in a treble... kiss of death now i have mentioned it so soon.. £5 pays £1720
-
Talking of Lee only 4 years left on his ban he will be 50 on his return be interesting to see if he tries to come back.johnnybev1987 said:

Cao Yupengs ban expires in November this year he will only be 30 so I expect to see him at Q School next year
Yu Delu still has 9 years left on his ban and will be 41 on his return1 -

Its crazy to think Lee is nearly 50 , i dont know whether he would come back im sure if he still plays he will as there is money in the game. Will be interesting, i know he went to Thailand but then got done for even teaching pool/snooker, as well as had a money game so it wouldn't surprise me if he has been under the radar somewhere China/Thailand getting by with games.paulie8290 said:

Bingham was betting on himself. Nowhere near as bad as what Lee was doing, that's why he got 12 years.johnnybev1987 said:

Be interesting to see what response Cao gets on return, as I said I fully expect him on Q School next year and if he has been practicing then he should qualify as he was a decent player, I remember the Scottish Open final when he was close to winningjohnnybev1987 said:

Yeah Cao Yupeng is decent, i thought he had as much potential as most of the Chinese bar Yan, we arent going ot include Ding as he has been up there for years.paulie8290 said:

Oh yeah, true. I think people used to do it where the high break they would bet it gets beaten so to gurantee a win. It is a funny one altogether i can understand why they are harsh because you can heavily influence snooker so it would create grey areas even betting on yourself to win. I thought Bingham or a close friend were caught betting on others , not involving Binghams games but still against the rules. Higgins and Bingham have essentially got away with it, whether its because they found loopholes or because they have good solicitors but always go down in my estimation for it, Higgins i know was completely different but still those defending him just watch the videos. I used to be a big fan of Higgins before.LawrieAbrahams said:
