Some crackers there, could be interesting. I'm excited, on Robbo and Murphy at the mo but as both in bottom half might look at someone other than trump in the top.0 -
Real banana skin for O'Sullivan. Should be a good game to watch though.1

On a side note, cant remember if i posted so sorry if i am repeating myself (busy last week) Ronnie played Hawkins at where i play county pool last Friday, one of the people i know who works there occasionally was picking out the balls for them. I was gutted, i would have loved to be there, at Jordans Bar in Rainham (run by Jordan Church one of the best players in the world at pool, also now captain for Kent A)0 -
Tough bottom quarter1

You do a brilliant job on here, giving us so much information, who do you fancy to win it?3 -
I think it’s Trump’s to lose, unlike the US election which is looking like the end of the road for Trump.2

Its tough this year
Pre lockdown I would have said 100% Judd or Robbo
But lockdowns changed so much, its a bit of an out there shot, but the way he played in the Tour Championships I really like Stephen Maguire
One thing for sure I am not holding any hopes for Selby, if he can get past round 2 I will be happy1 - Sponsored links:

Betting wise i have gone Robbo/Murphy and now Maguire after the draw
Trump is still the man to beat, literally anything can happen. Also it wouldn't surprise me if Ronnie has one last hurrah and several you cant discount. Maybe the most wide open or hardest to call in years? I am not expecting as many upsets first round as previous years 10 + Seeds will go through i reckon...1 -
Also guys i know we normally do predictions, i am sorry but i am swamped and wont be able to keep on top of it this year. More than happy for someone else to take over, i know its a bit of fun so sorry for those that look forward to it.0

The updates on the event plus with Q School running at the same time that I will be keeping an eye on.
Plus I do all this on a phone no laptop or computer to keep spreadsheets or anything, so would be to much work with everything else

One more thing to quickly add before I forget
Updates on Friday may not arrive for the morning session depending on finish time and not sure about after session either.
I have a funeral to attend on Friday so snooker will be the last thing on my mind1 -

Urgh Ronnie
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/snooker/53582109
I get where he is coming from to a point but he is moaning then down the bottom he says I had the opportunity to pull out but I didn't
So don't moan then, if you have decided to play then fair enough, don't go moaning about it now you have decided to play.
If he does lose early at least he will have his excuse ready 😆😆 oh I wasn't comfortable

Although i agree, not sure why he would come out to BBC and make it public, if he has agreed to play it should just suck it up or state his case privately. Its not an excuse if he loses, i assume he has an agenda by bringing it up with BBC (or whoever) they might be more likely to change it by making it public and the uproar.0 -
ANTHONY HAMILTON HAS PULLED OUT OF THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS DUE TO HEALTH CONCERNS
what was the point in him going through Qualifiers just to pull out, he knew a crowd was gonna be there its been known for a couple of weeks about 300 people were gonna be let in
Sam Craigie and Scott Donaldson will be fuming lol0 -
Kyren Wilson recieves a bye
https://wst.tv/hamilton-pulls-out-for-health-reasons/
I would have liked them to call Scott Donaldson back as he lost to Hamilton in the final qualifying round1 -
He has qualified for money firstly, i have no doubt he had no intention of playing. it is a shame as i think the World Championship should never really end up with a bye. Personally whoever withdraws should be replaced with the last person they beat naturally (lucky loser), I have read two sides of it but it just doesn't sit right pulling at out last minute , maybe he could have stated before.
The other side is due to the pandemic they have missed out on several events to make the money, so its a tough one. But for the fans of the game noone wants to see a bye, when he qualified i actually saw alot of people pleased he got through and usually a bit of a fan fave, i think that might change slightly now... Not quite Liang though0 - Sponsored links:

You can't reinstate someone if they have lost, so it has to be a bye. It happened to me once, I lost in the semi final of Kent Championship and I went along on finals night because they used to do the presentation after and I'd also won the highest break prize. When I turned up I discovered the bloke who beat me had pulled out because he wasn't happy with the venue. The bloke who won it ended up playing the previous year's winner in a challenge match, and lost. So he was pissed off even though he was County champion and so was I.1

It possibly doesn't do Kyren Wilson much good either.0
-
I don't get this, if Barry Hearn has even come out and said this why cant he offer Scott Donaldson a lucky loser place0 -
It's caused quite a stir on Twitter.
I can see both sides of the argument to be honest. I'm on the fence with this2 -
I don't think they should have spectators. Why is the Crucible deemed safe, an indoor arena with seating for about 900 and allowing 300 in, and yet Wembley has to remain empty? Makes no sense at all.1

Rather 300 people in the crucible at 3rd capacity then 30,000 people at Wembley at 3rd capacity lol
Smaller venue so its easier to limit numbers, I personally think its to early still but i guess if we want to be allowed back in football stadiums in October then it has to start somewhere0 -

Trump has massively gone up in my estimations lol

I just love this quote
"I have been around the game long enough to know that if there is a World Championship coming up, he [O'Sullivan] is going to try to get the headlines
Which was exactly what I thought when I saw the BBC story about O'Sullivan, it was 2 days before the tournament was starting and people were not taking about him lol0 -
To be fair to Ronnie he has been quite vocal about having crowds there for quite some time1
