Really enjoyed it.PragueAddick said:What did people think of the Salisbury Poisonings on BBC1 last night? Despite some over-acting I found it gripping.
I have only one other comment to make at this stage: Putin, go **** yourself.0 -
Thought it was excellent.0

Following a recommendation on here have started to watch Power on Netflix. Half way through the second series and really enjoying it. Think the fact there were 6 series put me off.
Watched a Finnish female cop drama called Deadwind which was quite good but probably overly long.1 -
I've binged Dave this week. Excellent show, very funny.0

Big Brother Best Shows - watched this today, featuring the original series 1. It's amazing looking back at how much fuss was made of 'Nasty' Nick trying to influence the voting! It certainly explains how politics has ended up how it is now, 20 years on :-)

Not new but forever repeated .. I always enjoy 'Inside the Factory' (big fan of sexy Cherry) .. but Greg's permanent wide eyed incredulity, astonishment and stentorian shouting does get a bit monotonous ((:>)0

Just one episode left for me. Really good.SantaClaus said:I've binged Dave this week. Excellent show, very funny.0 -
Same here, started watching after reading this thread and loving itCovered End said:I'm half way through Fauda on Netflix, after recommendations on here.
If you enjoy Palestine/Israel/ISIS type drama then it's for you. 8/10 from me, in middle of series 2.1 -
As a side note. Would you as a police or public health officer really not talk to your other half about the case? Last night the woman ph officer said she couldn't discuss the case with her husband, even though she looked like she could really do with talking to someone and un-burdening her fears. I think it was intimated that he was a phycologist so it's not as if he didnt understand about client confidentiality & not to go round blabbing things to his mates.PragueAddick said:What did people think of the Salisbury Poisonings on BBC1 last night? Just seems strange to me.0 -

Back then you could also watch live feed and remember getting texts/emails that it was kicking off but was a blocked site a work.Wilma said:Big Brother Best Shows - watched this today, featuring the original series 1. Not a BB fan, but "Davids dead" has to be one of the best pieces of television ever.Wilma said:Big Brother Best Shows - watched this today, featuring the original series 1. Funny to see them all sat around reading as they were allowed to take books in. Wonder why they changed that rule?!MrOneLung said:

It was nice to see normal everyday looking people on a reality show instead of the identikit fake tanned wannabes you get now.

Is that the one which was in shakespearean rhyming couplets? That was a good one.LargeAddick said:My favourite Number 9 was set in an hotel, can’t remember exactly what happened but it was excellent.
My favourite was 12 days of Christine, it was certainly the most hard hitting. Sheridan Smith was great in it12 days of Christine.
Watched this for the first time today.. brilliantly done.
It was like the first time I saw the 6th sense!

Anyone given "The Woods" a go? Recommend?0

A bit slow tbh... Too much back tracking to make it worthwhile. Will stick with it though as I like the books.moutuakilla said:Anyone given "The Woods" a go? Recommend?1 -

I can remember exactly where I was when I heard they had kicked nasty nick out. He wasnt even that nasty, as i recall he was the only one who was playing the game to win
It probably should have stopped after that first run, as a social experiment it was fresh and new as opposed to the human zoo it became.
Now this is a random one, I bumped into Nicola Holt a couple of years in Soho. I said to the people I was with "look there is Nicola from the first series of big brother"
It was a bit embarrassing when my wife asked how I knew who she was having not watched the show and me confessing to her that it was from watching a video or two of her being double penetrated as opposed to knowing anything about her from big brother9 -
We gave up after a couple of episodes.moutuakilla said:Anyone given "The Woods" a go? Recommend?
Enjoy the books but this was awful.1 -
Just started watching The First Team on iPlayer. Not sure if already mentioned. Pretty funny first episode, comedy about young footballers. Lots of scenes shot at the valley.0

Anna the skateboarding lesbian nun should have won, she has a brilliant dry sense of humour if I remember rightly. Though obviously what Craig did with the winnings was lovely.Wilma said:

Anyone watched Hunters, the Al Pacino Amazon series yet?
Looks ideal, but something is stopping me diving in.0 -
Likewise. Whenever I have seen Pacino interviews recently he doesn’t seem all there and that is putting me off for some reason.Super_Eddie_Youds said:Anyone watched Hunters, the Al Pacino Amazon series yet?

It’s ok. It’s a bit of a mess in places and struggles to stick to one formula. There are some moments in it that are stand out good. There is also a lot wrong with it including one moment where I almost gave up on it but stuck with it to the end and felt there was just enough to get me interested in a second series. Also at an hour each episode it felt too long.Super_Eddie_Youds said:Anyone watched Hunters, the Al Pacino Amazon series yet?

Four episodes in on the third season of The Sinner on Netflix. Bill Pullman has been excellent as Detective Harry Ambrose. Well worth a watch.4
