    Phishing emails. They are getting really good some of them. My mum showed me one she recieved from "HMRC" and it looked so legit i can imagine lots of people getting caught out.

    Not so much annoyed as despairing of human nature. "There isn't a lot of compassion in business" as an acceptable reason to do this to people who are already at such a low ebb?

    I get that the Chiefs are also out of pocket as a result of the airline's demise, but there is no suggestion that the tickets that were issued had been re-sold, or that the club had told anyone the tickets were no longer valid (that they didn't know FlyBe used them as staff incentives is a little surprising).

    Surely they could have allowed them in and then announced that FlyBe tickets would no longer be valid after that match?

    Peterborough United invited Thomas Cook staff to come along to their next home game for free after Thomas Cook went bust.

    Seems unbelievably short-sighted, and spiteful to turn a tiny handful of people away in these circumstances, and I sincerely hope that the Flybe staff tell Tony Rowe to shove his "come and watch the reserves for free" offer right up his arse.

    It's more the thinking of the people involved these days - 

    Tony Rowe said "there isn't a lot of compassion in business" after ticket holders were left disappointed.

    "I feel sorry for all their staff who have lost their jobs but the reality is they were given something by their previous employers and that item was void," he said.

    He added the rugby club was "not a charity"

    That was actually the words of Wiktionary. In the context of that phrase, I'm a monkey/lackey rather than an organ grinder in my current job - doesn't really bother me, as those terminologies are clearly not intended to be taken literally, although in this day and age a lot of people seem to actively hunt out things to be offended by.

    Anyway, there's more important things going on today, so not going to waste anymore time engaging with your bizarre need to be controversial.
