He has has a good run here but seen him to often lose when he should've won and over the longer format I dont fancy him, I also feel like he played Neil Robertson at the right moment in this event as well, Robbo was on the back of 3 weeks of non stop snooker, 3 finals in a row and he looked mentality fatigued hence the 5-0

Robbo definitely my shout for the worlds this year

As I said earlier seen this to often from Kyren, Murphy has been very good but Wilson has made mistakes 3 or 4 frames he was in with 40 or 50 breaks and played a poor shot and Murphy came in and cleared up.

Well at the start of the day I honestly thought that come 11PM this match would still be on going, honestly thought it would be 9-8.

Wilson just wasnt there today and Murphy was on top form

Must be fantastic for Shaun Murphy to get the Ray Reardon trophy from Ray Reardon himself

  • Is this only on eurosport?

A shame if not on terrestrial television as could appeal to a wider audience

Yeah I have metioned this a few times on twitter the past week, think they have messed up here.

Before it was only on Sky, then ITV4 got coverage and it got a big audience, last year Eurosport got a deal for the Shootout till 2026 and shared coverage with Quest, everyone assumed the same thing was going to happen this year, in fact the world snooker website says as much on there coverage page, but nothing on Quest it appears.

Thankfully I have Eurosport I pay monthly mainly due to so much snooker being on there, but could have been so much bigger had it been on freeview

    Dominic Dale 30-26 Mitchell Mann

The closest match so far, surprise mistake from Dale almost cost him when he forgot to hit the cushion as well
