We had a guy called Fonseca playing for the under 23's. A prima attitude is probably why Maddison hasn’t been signed until now by a bigger club. Having said that, his stats are outstanding and that’s why he’s coveted. Might have to either make an exception, pay the big wages and hope you can make him behave or move on.0

Ok so let’s get this straight..
According to the Peterborough Utd Chairman Maddison was “buzzing” after his meeting with LB. Since then The Peterborough Utd Manager has clearly stated that Maddison will be frozen out and not play for the first team again this season.
I’m definitely not ITK but to me that says that we still have every chance of sealing the deal with maybe just a little tweaking of the original offer.
I still think that Maddison will sign a contract and we’ll see him wearing the Charlton colours soon. I also believe that he will be a very good acquisition indeed.8 -
I think it unfair to say Maddison is a prima donna. He could and should have moved on the last 3 pre-seasons. Peterborough were willing to let him go the last two for the right money. Clubs were unwilling to spend a large transfer fee on a star midfielder, though they're always happy to buy an overpriced Peterborough forward.
His only drop off I can remember was at the start of last season, but he was playing under Evans after no transfer materialised.0 -

Personally, don't really want Madison now. Not proven at Championship level anyway. Think we could better for a couple of million quid. Also reckon he's a greedy bastard.1

ive been a member for a fair while and hardly ever been given inside info and even if I did I wouldnt share it but if it did come off Id be like 'fck off thats what he told me'
