    Is this like how people who grew up during rationing, still eat Spam, even though they can now afford and get actual ham? Have Gallen and Bowyer got so used to having nothing they're struggling to adjust?

    Hearing Marriott is practically done...Only passing on what I'm hearing. Don't know much about him but his goals to games is impressive.

    Without sounding rose tinted, does that not sound like one of them lazy, easy to throw out rumours just because it hasn’t been completed yet?

    Very interesting, thanks for sharing. Would be a great signing, works extremely hard. Brilliant last season. Fingers crossed

    This time yesterday everyone was getting excited with the Maddison news , now it's armageddon. How things can change in 24 hours. In LB , SG and MS we should trust.

    Jack Marriott? Doubtful, bloke is currently injured and even if we could get him I honestly would rather it spent elsewhere, he is genuinely a sick note despite his brilliant record in league 1

    As for the Maddison and wages that just doesn't add up to me, why would we pay a decent transfer fee but not pay the going rate for an average championship player?With Maddison now I really do think its the cliche of wait until its OTOS.

    Not the first time I have been forced to ask this question this week....but who else would you go for then if you are not happy with Marriott? Who do you expect us to sign?

    Marriott is a quality finisher.  I live in Derby, but he's rumoured to be a bad trainer.

    He doesn't start many games but outside of Rooney now, is the best finisher at the club.

    My missus sponsored his shirt for Derby last year.  He turned the play off semi final.

    Yes cause he is also currently injured...

    If it was a fully fit, ready to play 90 minutes Jack Marriott then of course I would want him, but as it stands, to have a chance of keeping us up I would prefer the Blackpool lad as a short term option at least

    I trust my mate. However he's not in the know directly. It's his mate who works within football, who knows. As with any rumour, you don't know until it's done.  

    Never given me info before, so no track record to go on, but I know he's not making it up. 

    Reluctant to put a number on it, but what the hell, I'm treating it as 7 out of 10 or better.  You're welcome to make of that what you will :)

    Just like prospective new signings, I’d trust in LB a lot more if ESI gave him a long-term contract

    Not sure if it’s been said but Southall likes certain select tweets that he’s sent and of the few he liked one was from a guy who asked if Bows and Maddison were the ‘deals pending’.

    On a side note I wonder would we swap Marriott and Taylor. May suit us both in the circumstances.
