You can argue about whether they are good enough at this level, but we are well covered in that position, with Sarr and Oshilaja, and Pratley who can also play there. I'm not sure any teams needs more than 4 (+ Pratley) CBs unless they are intending to play 3 at the back all the time.carly burn said:

We will not be promoted this season but we could go down - priority one is survival.
We survive and then the test will come in the summer to answer the questions about how serious the new owners are to maximise their investment. You do not spend £30-40-50 whatever million to buy a club and commit £15 million to getting a Cat 1 academy just to tread water in the Championship.
I'd say a CB is as much a priority as anywhere else
Kean sounds like a promising footballer, I could see him at LB or in midfield, I'm not sure I would have someone so inexperienced against Mitrovic, Fletcher or Matt Smith though, none of those Oldham fans mentioned aerial ability for example.1 -

KAG was a nugget last January. Taylor likely will be this January. Williams for us also a nugget last January. They are about, they usually have 6 months left on their contract.bobmunro said:

The Posh chairman has said buying that Barnet player has nothing to do with Maddison, also I think he was bought for 6 figures with add ons, not sure how much.
Worth nothing though that he has already accepted Maddison is gone one way or another so they would definitely accept his buyout I would say, he thinks money that bloke.
With Maddison and the buyout it's a dodgy one, paying over 2 mill for a l1 player is a lot and probably not worth it if it doesn't pay off, but you do eliminate the other teams who will be in for him looking to take a punt so to speak when he's a free in the summer. I think with how consistent he has been the past 4 or so seasons and the interest he will gain it is worth the fee.
Edit: been reminded that obviously a buyout clause means a buyout clause. Numpty0
