    I actually think Southall will smash the ball at the crossbar which will trigger a mass firework display spelling the words “Done” in the night sky.  He better hit the bar though or he will only win a pair of match tickets and nobody would wish him sitting through 90 mins of what we serve up.
    That reminded me of the penalty miss by Diana Ross at the 94 World Cup opening ceremony - the only penalty (apart from shoot-outs) missed in the whole tournament.
    “Diana Dross” would have been a good newspaper headline.

    Tonight would be an ideal time to announce it. Sky camera's there and not another home game until Boxing Day, and I guess they would like as near a sell-out crowd as they could get for that game. On top of that there was the LB/SG meeting with Matt last night, and hence the announcement could involve news about their contract extensions!!
    Well it all seems logical to me anyway!!!

    Agreed, and if it was there would be some leaks and rumours around it.

    There were no rumours about this group buying the club.

    About that but probably a mix of Charlton people, security etc but hard to do a face check and head count. Pretty sure Tom Rubashow was amongst the group.

    Just heard Bowyers pre match interview with Sky. He said last nights meeting with Southall was positive, that there were some good things spoken about but also some strange things.
