Can’t believe it. One of my two boyhood heroes (Killer being the other). RIP Big Bob.0

Had wondered why he was "taking a break" from appearing on the debate during the recent test matches.0

RIP legend
Absolute legend of the game, absolutely gutted. Loved his no nonsense punditry that bordered on grumpy old man sat in the pavillion. RIP.14 -
Wow

Bob had a very distinctive run up and delivery and was a great wicket taker. RIP0

Was a bit too young to remember him playing but always really enjoyed his laconic punditry style. RIP Bob0

So sad to hear this.
The Cricket Debate on Sky will never be the same.
Can shut my eyes and see him going into one of his 'Well Charles,...' analytical monologues.
No nonsense punditry at its very best.6 -
He hadn't been looking very well lately, so it's not a real surprise to me. I met him on a few occasions while on tour with England in the 90's and he was always a nice person to chat to, even if he did have a boring drawl of a voice. Never really liked him as a cricketer being Surrey/Warks (and especialy as a captain), but watching the Headingley Test last day was a match to remember!

RIP
It's easy to forget what a great fast bowler he was for England, when he had none of the workload protection that Broad and Anderson have got. 325 wickets at 252 -
RIP Bob
Very sad news, one of the all time great fast bowlers a great character and a big Bob Dylan fan
