  • WG Grace hit a triple-century aged 48.

The flash bugger even hit two of them in a matter of days!
  • 200 stand between Billings and Stevens

Looks like Stevo is throwing the bat now.

Trescothick is actually older than Stevens, but hasn't hit a ton since last season

Stevo appears to have hit 60 in about half an hour.

Hardly played this season, indeed he seems to have spent a lot of time with England this summer

Probably the second best innings Headingley has seen this year

Sir Geoffrey was older than 43 I believe when he hit his last first class ton.

    He finished playing in 1986.

The man has gone out of control.
  • At the moment releasing the Lord God Stevens at season's end is the cricketing equivalent of shooting Bambi in a drive-by.
  • Wonder what Yorkshire fans were thinking when we were 39-5 with a 43 year old coming to the crease. And more to the point they are thinking now!

Had the boot been on the other foot I'm sure we would have had "same old Kent - can't finish a team off - even an old man can take our attack apart" etc etc
  • Billings is still there, scoring at half the rate of Stevens!

    Not for much longer.
  • 204 runs in a session!
  • 140 runs for Stevo in that session! Yes it's a different form of the game, but it makes you wonder why he's struggled with T20 cricket in recent seasons

Closing in on the 300 partnership.
I wonder if Rayner's pads are starting to annoy him.

I think he finds it hard under the lights which a lot of T20 is.

He doesn't play in the pink ball first class games either.

Kent's record sixth wicket partnership of 315 (set by Aravinda de Silva and Mark Ealham against Notts at Trent Bridge in 1995)
