    Marmus giving the England players a bit of lip just before going and Broad just waved at him and said "see ya". How lucky Smith is? He could have been out easily.

    If we could somehow, somehow, get Smith out cheaply we've got a slight chance here.  I mean, we won't and we'd only have a tiny chance anyway, but we can dream!

    Agree with the above but I cannot see the Aussies declaring until very late in the day.
    We should still manage to get a draw.

    70% chance we would get the current 231
    15% chance of getting 300
    5% chance of getting 350

    But I think they will want a lead of 400 before they declare.
    A draw is a good result for them, they can't afford to give us any chance.

    Good thing about the wickets is that it should slow them down. I think they will have 45 minutes at us today whatever their lead.

    I know it is his mannerisms but I hate it. Luckily I am not bowling as I would be aiming at his face and wipe those smirks and facial remarks (even though I am 4ft 11), He is like the kid at school who has got everything is smug that you wanna hit.  It's because of this I hate his batting.  I would love to whilst his waving his bat in the air he nicks one by mistake and gets caught waving his bat in the air. Shame you can't do a Taylor. WAlk up, wait for him to move and aim the ball near his bat whilst it is in the air.

    Said this to  Golfie Jnr at tea.  I'd prefer us to have as little as time as possible batting. 

    Pitch is deteriorating. Cant see us surviving much more than a couple of sessions. And finish is at 7pm tomorrow because of the rain delays...??

    Bloody Monday though it is going to bloody rain. Just our luck !! Mind you we are gonna lose not just for bad luck but not being good enough.  It will me amazing if it s draw tomorrow but jut can't see it. Not when they have Lyon playing on a turning pitch Day 5.  Probably got enough runs already to be honest but Aussies can't risk it.
