    I would take any talk of what a player is or isn't earning with a large pinch of salt, unless your are looking a copy of their payslip.

    I'm not sure the bottom half of the SPL would survive league one, nor would many in the top half get promoted.

    I think he’ll do well. Likely get in the team of the year come May. Gerrard could win them the spl if they have a good run and can win one or two of the derbies- as they’ve brought in some good signings... they should at least win some silverware rather than Celtic dominate everything again. Then come next summer a bundesliga team, an Everton/West Ham or perhaps arsenal depending how their season has gone, will come in for him.  But despite all that, he was better off going a higher championship club for his footballing development and his own game.

    Kilmarnock who finished 3rd last season got knocked out over 2 legs by a part time Welsh side last night, Aribo will look class up there and will probably move on to bigger things in a year or two

    This. Outside of Rangers and Celtic, there isn't a team in that league that wouldn't be challenged by a League One side.  Apart from when they play Celtic and potentially Europe, he won't be playing at a higher level so if he looked good in League One, he is going to look good there.
