Third VAR decision against in a Semi-Final or later this summer for both Men / Women Senior teams

VAR might get the right decision but it kills the atmosphere. England getting shafted by it for the 3rd time in a month makes it even worse.

Was that even offside? Is that what VAR is there for, ruling out goals not offside or a couple of MM?

Said it after that disallowed Cameroon goal vs England - yes it's technically offside, so can't argue with the decision on the day, but the rule needs to be reviewed. It's not in the interests of the game as a spectacle to be disallowing goals because a striker's big toe is offside.

Yes VAR is there to correct decisions, it was offside so no complaints, It worked for us against Cameroon and against us here

    What go around comes around.
Ellen White has been excellent in her finishing

Apart from anything else, it's impossible to expect strikers to be able to judge their relative position and time runs to that level of accuracy.

In the era of VAR, the offside rule needs to be changed.

We look so slow and ponderous compared to the US.
Midfield full of nothing players. All tidyish on the ball but no real dynamism or athleticism. Players like Kirby and Scott are complete wallpaper footballers.
You what? Scott is all athleticism, no tidiness. She's a loping disaster area of a footballer - both for the opposition and her own team. A gamebreaker
Equally wrong. She's both. She's athletic and capable of breaking up play if needed, but she's also excellent on the ball. Our resurgence this half has been linked with her bringing the ball out and playing decent, positive passes around, and her flick just then for White was superb. She can give the ball away, like absolutely everyone in this team has today, but characterising her as just a tidy passer or just a destroyer is plain wrong

Scott has been superb in this tournament.
    Had a battle tonight though.

Agree. She does that ugly stuff well and she’s actually decent on the floor in possession. Certainly been one of the better players tonight.

Yes, it's interesting that they are using VAR for offside decisions like Hawkeye at Wimbledon where it's either in or out, instead of in cricket where they use Umpire's call for marginal decision
