Official thread for Charlton tickets sold v Donny: SOLD OUT OF ALL THE BLOODY TICKETS.

Just spoke to the Ticket Line people. All home areas sold out. She told me that they had heard there may be more tickets released (400) but they have not been.
She told me at least 400 people have been on this afternoon wanting to purchase.
I asked her to feedback to the club the demand (which I am sure they already know). She said she would speak to her manager.
I wasn't able to go when the tickets went on sale but circumstances have changed today and I can go.1 -
The above sounds as official a line as we are going to hear today!1
-
Seems that Doncaster tickets will remain on sale until 6pm on Thursday - I'm surprised they're not going to have to send back any unsold earlier.
Reckon thats going to make any plans give part of the Jimmy Seed to Charlton fans difficult when the club dont know until Thursday evening how many Doncaster will be bringing0 -
Why no why no communication update from the club, incompetence is the only reason surely.0

What you're seeing is the problem that is widely discussed inside the club, including on the football side, of having nobody at the top willing and available to take decisions.AFKABartram said:Regardless of what should be the desire to get fans in, you’ve got to admit it’s commercially bizarre as well. No tickets on offer for two days, you’ve sold out every cheap area available (bar Jimmy Seed), yet you have a prime block in your main stand at a higher price point not even put on sale yet.
Strange. Next Fans Forum will be enlightening0 -
I think I've got the same tickets as you but in the West Stand, take a tissue for the nose bleed!Lincsaddick said:my tickets just arrived .. seats so high at the far back of the east stand overlooking the corner flag, that even angels fear to tread there1 -
No better noise when walking up to the covered end years ago to hear tonight's game is sold out over the tannoy5

That's not far back at all, I sit at the back of the east stand and it's a great view of the pitchLincsaddick said:my tickets just arrived .. seats so high at the far back of the east stand overlooking the corner flag, that even angels fear to tread there
The Wembley top tier, now that's a distant view!2 -
I don't think people would mind as much if they weren't told yesterday that there would be an update yesterday and then that it was delayed until today and it still hasn't happened.
Get those tickets out and sold!5 -
So the Jimmy Seed is opening at 5pm to home fans, 1000 tickets up for grabs3

So that whole block in the West has effectively been allocated for comp freebies??1

A final batch of tickets in the Jimmy Seed Stand for Friday’s evening’s League One play-off semi-final second leg against Doncaster Rovers will be going on sale at 5pm on Tuesday as The Valley heads for a sell-out.
1,000 seats in blocks D,E,F,K and L will become available in The Valley's south stand, which is usually exclusively reserved for visiting supporters.

Great news. The first sellout of home tickets for 7 years is imminent3

All of the confusion is down to one person.
Cut the backroom staff to a minimum and this is what you get.
Just sell the club and FUCK OFF13 -
