Perhaps it suggests someone who only says something when they think they have something worthwhile to say. I’m wondering how much notice I should take of someone who says “moment in time”.letthegoodtimesroll said:
True, but wouldn’t somebody who is actively supporting the team have a whole host of things they’d want to comment on at this moment in time ? If the only thing they want to say about charlton with everything else that’s happening is we should be protesting on Friday night then that doesn’t really suggest a very active supporter to meStu_of_Kunming said:
There's no connection between forum usage and level of support.letthegoodtimesroll said:
A not very active poster wants us to protest rather than give 100% support to the team...I guess it won’t be the last one of these we will see this week or in the run up to Wembley if we win Friday nightaddick100 said:For me, getting a new owner is more important than going up. Arguably, us going up may lead to us being sold quicker....
I also dont think a Roland out sign and some anti-regime songs will cause a distraction. Get the banner back!1 -
my tickets just arrived .. seats so high at the far back of the east stand overlooking the corner flag, that even angels fear to tread there0
-
This really is just typical of the current regime. Still no additional home tickets available and no news whatsoever - especially about the Jimmy Seed stand.
Previously, Club staff would be working all out to make sure as many Addicks could get into The Valley as possible. Get the feeling LVT is just sitting there shrugging his shoulders, completely indifferent to the situation.

I've just had a leaflet through the door advertising the game, a week too late, and no it wasn't Darren Pratley who delivered it.2
-
I've been trying to ring the club for last 10 minutes and it just cuts me off. I have a password problem which I obviously want to resolve before Friday. Looks like the ticket office is not contactable. Shambles.0
-
Just phoned them for my repeat prescription. Got straight through.19
-
Now showing a different six seats available, but not really, in WSM and seven in the Director's box!!0
-
Six of the same seats as before. You cannot buy them for some reason.0
-
How many Australians were at the Shrewsbury game? Might be saving those 6 seats for them........0

So it appears like out of luck and might aswell stop the hourly Ctrl + R ???0

Hourly ? That's no good.mendonca said:So it appears like out of luck and might aswell stop the hourly Ctrl + R ???
When they go back on sale, they'll likely be gone in an hour.
You need to be constantly checking and/or checking this thread.
CAFC did say there will be more on sale.
I wonder if they are going to put them on sale 9am tomorrow, same time as the advertised selling at the ground ?2 -

Maybe the use of the word "hourly" actually meant minute by minute lol! Has there been an advertised sale at the ground?0 -
So 9am tomorrow ticket office will open , to sell tickets for the home game on Friday ?? How exciting, this is a great opportunity for those people who enjoy an overnight camp out, to join together with others of the same ilk, and finally get some one to talk to !

It was stated from the outset, tickets would be sold at the ticket office from 9am on Wed 15th - Fri 17th.
Presumably, there will be some extremely angry fans at the ticket office tomorrow if they are told, it's sold out.
Considering people were driving up from Rochester and the like without checking the internet, I expect the same to happen tomorrow and beyond.
There are some people who don't/can't use the internet and have no contact with other Charlton fans, so have no idea what's happening.
I should imagine there are some, who will be expecting to choose from 10,000 unsold seats.
If I were in charge (if it can be done), I'd sell out the remaining West.
Put all the Donny fans in one half of the JS unreserved and put CAFC fans in the other half, with a bit of segregation.
Donny fans seemed very pleasant, so I think any agg is unlikely.

Why the silence from the club? Surely they understand that it is in the team's best interest to have every seat possible occupied by home fans?0
-
I need two and when I call they just palm it all off on Charlton saying they know there are substantial numbers left to be sold but the club are not advising if or when they will go on sale

Yet another shambles. How to take the gloss off a great first leg win, in one easy lesson.1
-
I find it really strange that we've gone from nearly hourly updates and calls for the supporters to fill the ground to complete and utter silence.0
-
They are possibly waiting for someone (LDT) to make a decision re my above post.1

Are they all off today? Would have been away saturday/Sunday, finishing off yesterday and building up from tomorrow? Today would be a logical day to have off.superclive98 said:I find it really strange that we've gone from nearly hourly updates and calls for the supporters to fill the ground to complete and utter silence.0 -
It it makes a mockery of LB requesting us all to buy tickets2
-
I just tried to book a ticket with hospitality and they are all gone.
complete sellout.
isnt that going to be a beautiful sight and sound1 -
Who knows? I would assume that the staff are waiting to sell the remaining seats but are also waiting for the okay to do so. They probably can't say anything without criticising Duchatelet or his lackey.Cafc43v3r said:

From the looks of things on the donny os ticket page, a portion of the JS Stand is locked off. Good chance this might be released today for home supporters

Maybe they're keeping the tickets back so that they'll have something to sell tomorrow for those here in person. Maybe they're talking with the police before splitting the JS
Either way, I don't get the negativity in this thread about ticket sales, moaning that we're not getting constant emails and tweets from the club when the ground is virtually sold out already6 -
Back of East Stand is actually a very good view. Used to have my season ticket there.Lincsaddick said:my tickets just arrived .. seats so high at the far back of the east stand overlooking the corner flag, that even angels fear to tread there1 -

What have you been doing since 7.30pm Sunday it's not as if you got in late.
First there was the debacle of informing fans of the wrong kiosks and it's now 15.27 on a Tuesday and you've still not sorted the rest of the tickets.

And they have 166 seats left...0
-
That's Blocks E & F in the lower part of the JS stand.
They've not got even close to start selling the upper part of the JS; Blocks G - L
