Official thread for Charlton tickets sold v Donny: SOLD OUT OF ALL THE BLOODY TICKETS.

I think the covered end had its roof, pretty sure being under it that night. From memory , I am sure it was the west stand that was uncovered.
Amazing noise at the valley that night.

And if they do, they will surely send us more ?MartinCAFC said:

Supporters wishing to purchase tickets on general sale for the first leg at the Keepmoat Stadium can now do so from the Club Doncaster Box Office.
The club are aware Charlton Athletic are close to selling out their initial allocation and the club will monitor the first day of general sales before making a decision on whether to grant the Addicks any additional tickets.
or...are they going to assess tomorrow whether we even get the extra 800?0 -
I read it as a given we get the 800 (once we sell the last 300 odd) and they are umming and aaaaahing over sending us more if their demand is shit and we sell out .
edit: having re read it not so sure ..... but i'm certain they'll send the extra 800 unless their demand goes crazy2 -
That's what logic would suggest, but is that link suggesting we might not get the extra 781?Covered End said:

North stand was roofless for 4-0 final day home defeat to Liverpool in the Prem.SoundAsa£ said:
Incorrect......the roof had been taken off the North Stand.golfaddick said:
Special night that one. Rather warm evening if I recall & the roof had come off the West stand making it look a bit surreal. Newton's goal just topped it all off. a bit like this season.........just thought we weren't going to lose once we'd scored.oohaahmortimer said:It’s all about the away numbers , we’re like a real club with proper away support
it’s like the Ipswich play off home game in 1998 when we had real passionate noise for once from around the ground , I reckon we’ll have some of the same for the home leg .
West Stand was Ipswich2 -
Seriously gutting reading this thread as try as I might I can’t get an ad hoc days leave on Sunday, nor can I find anyone who can cover my shift so will have to miss the short trip (for me) to Doncaster. I don’t want to count chickens but been looking online for train tickets on the 26th and can do a return for less than sixty quid. Not sure whether to book up in expectation. All this stress is doing no good for my inner peace.1

How many have Doncaster sold then?0
-
Get the feeling that with them still having almost 4,500 for sale, we will get more tickets should we need them.
Tomorrows early sales with give us some idea.

I really can't tell. Seems totally ambiguous to me....and our group are still sweating on getting one more ticket so...it matters!MartinCAFC said:

I can't see you'll have a problem getting one ticket at 9am, if there are 312 left now.Siv_in_Norfolk said:

If (IF) we sell out the full away allocation of over 4K this will be our best away support numbers wise since when?
Not including free travel/operation games and those with reduced ticket prices (7k at Fulham in FA Cup etc)
Baring in mind the kick off time and the distance, plus the un-attractive venue, I’m struggling to think of better in the last 20 odd years?!?
It’s what we should be capable of and makes the numbers at Carlisle (2012) and Blackburn (00) seem even more bizarre, not to mention the previous struggles at local games.5 -
