I won't believe it's an impressive away number till @oohaahmortimer eats humble pie and chips with gravy and says he thinks it's a reet Champion turn out for a mid day match in South Yorkshire. The Red Robin said:Impressive away numbers. I think we'll sell out.
E by gum Oohaah lad, stop faffing and give praise to Charlton lads and lasses who are putting best kegs on and heading to Donny.
It cost you nowt. I'll sithee.

Pompey home tickets sold out, still availability for their away seating in Sunderland

Bought two away tickets today, will try to get another couple tomorrow morning in phase 6 but reckon they will be sold out by then. When I bought mine, about 350 left was showing!0

We've shifted over 21000 home and away tickets in less than 3 days, that's amazing and a credit to our ticketing system really. To me the communication from the club has been fine tooForeverAddickted said:Has been really good communication from the Twitter Account again too
You go on the Sunderland | Portsmouth | Doncaster accounts... not a thing

Is there any news on the additional away allocation? Has that been confirmed?0

Plus the extra 781 we can have.MuttleyCAFC said:Bought two away tickets today, will try to get another couple tomorrow morning in phase 6 but reckon they will be sold out by then. When I bought mine, about 350 left was showing!
You'll easily get more early in the morning & possibly later as well.2 -
I'm amazed they've not sold the away allocation.killerandflash said:Pompey home tickets sold out, still availability for their away seating in Sunderland
Surely down to restrictions ?0 -

We'd have sold out too if we had a capacity of 21.1k
8 -
would expect them to sell out at home, Fratton Park holds less than 20k

The expense is a major factor I imagine, especially the lack of hotels in the area due to the rugby in NewcastleCovered End said:

no hotels, trains are extortionate - and you have to stop overnight , its fucking long coach journey.Covered End said:

we wont know but i think had that been us we would of struggled to sell a 1000.4 -
It said we were entitled to an extra 781 at the outset. That is confirmed to me.JollyRobin said:Is there any news on the additional away allocation? Has that been confirmed?0 -

I think Charlton will sell the full allocation 1st, the remaining 781 will be likely kept up at Doncaster and will be collect on the day, f all around the ground but i would get there early, as home fans will take priority and a 1500 + people picking up tickets could be a headache2

6 of the " German Addicks " are coming over for the away leg and have purchased tks, they have 3 Valley Golds.
Problem is transport from London, i'm told trains are very expensive now.
They wanted to go by ' valley away' but they tell me its fully booked. Seems strange as i feel sure they could fill at least one more coach.
Have just tried to check up with the valley away website but it wont allow me in.
Probably hire car is best bet for them.
Hmmm not "in type" to be last putting out their towels.4 -
how do you know that?. some are commenting about a train costing 100 quid.Elthamaddick said:

return train to sunderland £125.60
hotel for the night - literally none available due to the rugby and you have to stay overnight or a 10 hour round trip in the car with no traffic.
our support has been fantastic this season and its been great, but overnight we have not become a well followed club our away support has always been a little light we have failed to sell out gillingham, millwall numerous times.1 -
I hope all the people making ‘you’ll be fine’, ‘everyone who wants one will get one’ comments are willing to give up their tickets when it inevitably sells out.4

Why not fly to Leeds Bradford from Germany? No wonder they lost the war.Addictedoldgit said:6 of the " German Addicks " are coming over for the away leg and have purchased tks, they have 3 Valley Golds.

I am sure @Airman Brown will have a much better perspective, but It looks to me we will beat the figure for the playoff game against Swindon under Parky, when our core fan base was in much better shape. I think it augurs well for any Wembley showdown against either of those two big boys. I would think we could muster the 35k we took to the 98 final. All of which is pretty amazing with that dark duck taped shadow hanging over us, as Airman tweeted yesterday ( not with those words:)Its actually better than that @PragueAddick
We are already at roughly the home ticket sales for the 2010 Swindon game. Given what has happened in the last five years, I'm surprised (and delighted) at this.
Seems like I support hasn't completely gone away, its just been sleeping.

Come 2pm though I will get my ticket for the away game.
I'm tempted of course but ultimately won't break my boycott for the home leg. I'm still considering the away leg. As someone with no points and no recent purchase history when is the earliest I can buy for the away leg?4 -

You’ll find the extra home blocks are needed soon because availability of seats together will drop right off long before the other blocks are completely sold out. At this point it’s inevitable they will be needed, so no reason not to open them now except if there is a technical issue, but then nothing much was achieved by shutting by them in the first place.
Sales figures are excellent.8 -

Megabus coaches from Victoria to Sheffield [Meadowhall] maybe an option for them return fare just over £20.00 each.Addictedoldgit said:6 of the " German Addicks " are coming over for the away leg and have purchased tks, they have 3 Valley Golds.
