Maybe because they haven't cocked it up in the first place.ForeverAddickted said:Has been really good communication from the Twitter Account again too
You go on the Sunderland | Portsmouth | Doncaster accounts... not a thing1 -
Havent seen where our Ticketing Service have messed up yet...The Red Robin said:

Even if they havent it would be a small courtesy for them to let their fans know on the numbers they've sold3 -
Must have been asleep this morning then.ForeverAddickted said:

Same place they were pre-Roland.Chris_from_Sidcup said:
Very impressive numbers.ForeverAddickted said:
These are the updated sales figures as of 2pm on Wednesday afternoon...
Home leg: 18,817
Away leg: 2,344
I for one have completely under estimated the support.
Predicted 17,500 for the home game and around 2500 for the away game. Home will smash that and looks like the away game will go close to selling out.
Where are these fans all coming from?!5 -
System briefly went down before 9am but tickets hadnt gone back on sale yetThe Red Robin said:

Was able to login after 9am though and could easily have gotten a ticket for both home and away games0 -
Operation Keepmoat, bound to end well.

That plus the entire Valley Gold issue which wasn't resolved until after 10am.ForeverAddickted said:

I'm not a Valley Gold Member hence why I wasnt aware of it0 -
It's all over this thread and Twitter, but, in short, the club hadn't linked Valley Gold membership to fans' accounts when trying to purchase away tickets for this morning's phase. Bit of a problem when Valley Gold had priority for that same phase.ForeverAddickted said:

Yes. Used a different card after 3 attempts. That worked.AFKABartram said:tried to pay, gone through to Verify by Visa, says successfully completed, then go through to a screen with Error occurred trying to complete payment - Payment Error
go back, still in my basket, complete again then goes through at same stage to a Session Timeout screen. no idea if processed or not, guessing not.
Anyone else having similar issues?

I had the same problem buying home leg tickets. Thought I’d have to start again. But then I got an email saying transaction complete and the moneys come out of my account so happy days.AFKABartram said:tried to pay, gone through to Verify by Visa, says successfully completed, then go through to a screen with Error occurred trying to complete payment - Payment Error

No wonder the first 2400 up to 1pm today went quickDRAddick said:_MrDick said:

Away tickets arrived today. I know it’s not been smooth for everyone but for me I say fair play to the club easy to book and quick to arrive despite how busy they must be.
Think the staff deserve a bonus17 -
Our away tickets have arrived

I hope there's enough home tickets left for the new owners and their scarves.3

A lot of us (myself being Exhibit A) are Old Gits and not very confident buying online, particularly when excess numbers trying to do the same cause technical problems even for those who are proficient online.Redrobo said:Surprisingly few IT problems considering the numbers involved. I thought the process for season ticket holders for the home game was over complicated, especially for ipad users, but overall the staff have done very well.
I am a bit surprised that so many have opted to phone for tickets. We all know how few staff we have so hardly surprising that there are long waiting times. More surprised that that those electing to buy this way are surprised! It was a good decision not to sell to personal callers as this would have slowed it all down further.
Our age demographic was a major reason Katrien was so contemptuous of us and tried so hard to change the 'customer' demographic.
My tickets (home leg) purchased by phone arrived in the post this morning apparently so all good (until I get the phone bill with the 30 minute wait anyway).
However, for me, phone was the least stressful option.2 -
We've shifted over 21000 home and away tickets in less than 3 days, that's amazing and a credit to our ticketing system really. To me the communication from the club has been fine tooForeverAddickted said:Has been really good communication from the Twitter Account again too

If you have some spare time, why don't you practice buying a home ticket online, without actually buying ?LenGlover said:

Then when the Wembley tickets go on sale, it should be easy for you.5 -
Home sales are slowing to about 100/150 an hour.
I wonder if there will be any left when the ticket office opens for sale ?
If anyone knows someone planning to go down there 15th-17th they may want to help them out.0 -
Aways left 347 + 781 extra = 1,128
Sold 2,654
Definitely going on General Sale tomorrow.0 -
We’ve borrowed millwalls bandwagon , hop aboard and enjoy the journey cos we’re on our way , we’re on our way6

It’s all about the away numbers , we’re like a real club with proper away support
it’s like the Ipswich play off home game in 1998 when we had real passionate noise for once from around the ground , I reckon we’ll have some of the same for the home leg .7 -
Best home atmosphere I ever experienced. 90 minutes of singing "Heaney Broke Your Nose".....oohaahmortimer said:It’s all about the away numbers , we’re like a real club with proper away support
