Still not happy with dembeles pathetic attempt at the end looked like he’d never kicked a ball in his life with that lame effort .
concentrate on losing the league now please3 -
Looks like the Bin Dippers have got a huge fountain to climb...
I mean mountain...8 -
You could see the pain in Messis face. He is a lucky lucky boy the fact it was 3 0 and so late in the game. I wouldn't have him at Charlton.oohaahmortimer said:Still not happy with dembeles pathetic attempt at the end looked like he’d never kicked a ball in his life with that lame effort .

Messi is on another planet. Just a joy to watch, best there is and possible the best there will be.
It's not even his goals he scored. It's the way he picks the ball up and runs at players glides past them with ease, it fills me with such joy and love.
I don't think this tie is over just yet however.3 -
Which is why I don't think that happens a second time.Chris_from_Sidcup said:Worth noting that Barca thought they had the job done last year after a comfortable 1st leg win...................then Roma beat them 3-0 in the 2nd leg and went through.

No away goals is a massive setback for Liverpool. I can see them scoring next week but one mistake leading to a Barca goal and they'll need 5!0
-
In 2012, he scored 79 for Barca!North Lower Neil said:
That averages out at what, 43 goals a year? Ridiculous.Chris_from_Sidcup said:
Exactly 14 years to the day........he gets 600.Chris_from_Sidcup said:Crazy that he could get to 600 in just 14 years!
If a player scored 43 goals in one season you'd think he was brilliant, let alone averaging that for a decade and a half.
Figures we'll likely not see again in our lifetime.1 -
Liverpool needed 1 last night but were unlucky, I wish people would stop comparing messi and Ronaldo within the next few years they will retire so we should just admire them3

When all is said is done we will look back at what great players they have been for the game and appreciate what they have done for the game.palarsehater said:Liverpool needed 1 last night but were unlucky, I wish people would stop comparing messi and Ronaldo within the next few years they will retire so we should just admire them

Good to see Gary and Rio supporting the English club

Unlucky Liverpool last night (said with a huge grin) probably not a fair scoreline but still Game over now! if they had got 2-1 or even 3-1 might be a chance.
Messi is unreal , just love watching him play. That freekick was class, but generally just such a player makes it all look so effortless.
Spurs have a chance to go through as 0-1 isn't the worse score as only 1 away goal, hopefully they can step up in the 2nd leg and with Son available they have more of a chance. Wont be formality but I think Spurs / Barca final

As i mentioned last night, Barca lost 3-0 away at Roma last season, so no reason why Liverpool can't do the same.
And let's be honest despite the 3-0 scoreline last night, Liverpool dominated for long periods. They could quite easily come out at Anfield and steam into an early lead. They did the same to Man City in last years quarter final. 3 up in the first half.
I can see Barca needing to get an away goal to kill the tie.1 -
Just don't get all the hype around Messi , they were saying on Sky Sports he's only scored 22 goals with his head, and 85 goals with his right foot in his career.3
-
Oh , forgot to add , they also said he scored 491 goals with his left foot.3
-
More goals with his weak foot than Carl Leaburn got overall in 11 years for us.Mendonca In Asdas said:Just don't get all the hype around Messi , they were saying on Sky Sports he's only scored 22 goals with his head, and 85 goals with his right foot in his career.

Nothing is impossible, but I wouldn't fancy Liverpools chances. Just to get to Extra time they need to win 3-0, that means not concede against a team who is set up to counter attack like no other. Liverpool could have got a few goals last night, they might in the 2nd leg however you would back Barca to score at least once which makes it a mammoth task. Still you never know, the beauty of the game, I just think it is pretty much game over... although nothing to lose for Liverpool.Chris_from_Sidcup said:

People in glass houses shouldnt throw stones0 -
when is the fabinho testimonial?0

also what gets on my tits is the faux klopp hyping cant remember who they beat the other week but for about 10 seconds didnt realise a camera was on him and walking along to the kop and nothing as soon as he sees the camera the fist pumping etc starts, cant see them beating barca now so another season of liverpool "putting the pressure on".
whilst city may just do the treble and still be pissed about not getting champs league.1 -
This is quite disgusting. They should at least pretend to be neutral. Normally they pretend to support the English team.Henry Irving said:Good to see Gary and Rio supporting the English club
