Get in. Once again, thanks for your kind words and support. Blackpool are Back.17
-
Really pleased for them, hope they get someone decent in now.0

Long overdue for Blackpool. Great news for the fans!
Is Roland now the worst owner in England?1 -
I literally couldn't give a doo doo about any club that isn't ours.0

I think in worst owner stakes it's us v Coventry now.Congratulations to Blackpool fans: good news and I hope you don't get a points deduction.5

- Like Roland they kept the James Maddison sell on money that Norwich would have been forced to give them after selling him to Leicester
- On the other hand SISU have signed players this season; they've seven undisclosed signings (unthinkable under Roland)
- What sets Coventry apart though is the ground issues, puts them on a worse playing field than us because they dont have their own home0 -
@Hertsseasider does this mean the mass Boycott will be ending do you know? - Be great to see a full Bloomfield Road for the first game once its ended

Pleased for all their fans. Respect.
Ownership rules have to change. Supporters must be given a stake in them.2 -

Congrats to Blackpool, hopefully the good times start to roll again. That's some pedigree on the board!1 -
Great news. Slowly getting back to a proper football club.0

Hello. Expecting 10,000 plus for the Southend game on 9th March. I have to wait a couple more weeks as am away for that but it's going to be emotional. Imagine going back in after boycotting home games for over 4 years.....20 -

Be great if Colin Murray / Quest were to do a similar show live from Bloomfield Road like they did for Charlton v Sunderland0 -
I've always had an issue with the conceptual economics of having fan ownership. In other words, it really makes no economic sense to me.Let's say fans are required by law to "own" 20% of a club. Does this mean they get all the decision making power and veto but at the same time are NOT required to pony up for losses, which for 80% of all clubs, are standard operating procedure? If a club loses £10M in a year, are fans required to come up with £2M? I am guessing the answer is "no." To me it makes no economic sense for an owner to want to buy a majority interest in a club, only to be fully responsible for all losses, while having important decisions vetoed by a rabid fan base. Can someone explain from an outside investor's standpoint, why they would ever want to agree to such an arrangement?0
-
Fans owning 20% of their club is obviously not viable, but 20% of the ground, definitely yes.1

Good for the Blackpool fan base. Something we can look forward to someday.0

Lower transfer fees? Maybe. Lower wages? Maybe. Less supporters at games? Unlikely, probably more.1 -
Got my ticket, up there with returning Season ticket holders in exile on Sat. Looking forward to it.3

Is this true @Hertsseasider0 -

Hi . I guess in theory yes (gulp !!). However, they would need to find somewhere just shy of £30m in cash and, believe me, they ain't got that. It would also beg the question as to why they haven't stumped up the money to date ?.0 -
Jim White is a journo who smooches wherever he needs to, whoever he needs to, so that he can maintain the essential flow of shite to keep him relevant and on a valuable contract. No surprise he put this out. Surprise is he hasn’t had them clan on the show yet to explain how hard done by they are.
