A "few" it certainly was in the case of Foakes. Or is that a "couple"?

To be fair not every one of our batsmen have played bad shots. One or two could say that they got a good one and our score is also a reflection of our choice of bowling attacks as it is our batting effort.

Broad would have been really dangerous on this pitch. We only had 2 threatening bowlers yesterday

Will Windies enforce the follow on ?? If it were me I certainly would. A whole session ahead of them & only bowled 30 overs this afternoon.

Could be over almost all over by tonught.

When the two teams were announced I said someone has got it wrong
We went with two spinners and the Windies with none.
Broad should have played and we should have gone with one spinner.
This is the west Indies for God's sake not the sub continent.

Can understand the decision, bat us out of the game. To enforce the follow-on theoretically gives us best chance of winning by setting a 4th innings target. However I would have stuck us in again.

Bowl the Windies out for 150 and chase down 360.

I find it strange that follow-ons are rarely enforced nowadays.

    So, Jennings top scored then.!

I can imagine Root's speech right now.

"Come on boys. Let's spin ourselves to victory !"

Strange how one session makes you think that The Ashes could be a long way off winning.

Boylesports apparently has the WI at 5/2 for this game (oddschecker).
I'd open an account & stick my house on it, if I could find cricket betting on their site.
