40' Josh Ginnelly sends a cross-cross well wide for the hosts.

  • We've lost our rhythm and they are now on top. Hopefully second half we find our groove again
  • Never expected the great Derek Ufton to feature 50 yrs + on a 2018 thread

Can't that just be popped back in?

Done my shoulder back in 2001....rolled over and it just popped back in....i was very lucky though it can be quite a serious injury with complications (torn/stretched tendons etc)....hope Igor's aint to bad.
If you're lucky, it can neatly pop back in.

If you're unlucky, it's always liable to pop out again.

Lucky so far...haven't had any problems since I done it.

Only because I saw it happen when he dislocated his shoulder on the pitch

Reasonably typical Charlton game. Winning 1-0 & dominant, but if we don't go 2 up we all know the likely outcome.

42' Walsall's Luke Leahy is booked for taking a free-kick too early for the referee's liking.

Well it's Igor, so I think it'll be about as bad as it can possibly be
Out for the rest of the season probably

I assume you've never dislocated anything...

"popping back it", lol. I dislocated my finger when it was stamped on (accidently) playing football in school.

My P.E. teacher "popped it back in". It hurt like Hell! It felt like he had ripped it off, and thrown it away. And have had constant problems with tendon damage ever since...
Probably because you let your PE teacher do it tbf

Derek Ufton went straight to hospital after he dislocated his shoulder in the 7-6 game against Huddersfield in 1957.

And when he did it in the famous Huddersfield game, they may have "popped it back in", but he didn't carry on playing. Which is why we ended playing with 10 men...

You're right. It was a recurring problem for him.

45+3' Aribo is hauled down right on the edge of the box and the Addicks have a free-kick. The Charlton bench want a penalty though...

I'd love to hear whether anyone on here can own up to being at the game and leaving at half time.
