Yes why did spurs not approach Charlton to use the Valley?.1

MK's ground is a bit larger as well (30k).
Besides they probably phoned up Keohane and got an out of office voicemail0 -
Levy probably offered £2m to use the Valley yet Douchbag has said he's holding out for £4mValley27000 said:Yes why did spurs not approach Charlton to use the Valley?.

Too convenient to get to and away from ? Spurs fans I know leave their games at whl ten minutes before the end of the match and earlier when they are at Wembley.Valley27000 said:Yes why did spurs not approach Charlton to use the Valley?.

Roland thought Levy just wanted to rent a billboard, rather than the whole ground.5

They thought about it. They then realised that all their cabbies could be persuaded to support us instead a la Meire.Valley27000 said:Yes why did spurs not approach Charlton to use the Valley?.

Interesting theory, which any you in the building trade might be able to answer. Is that todays delays to Crossrail has been caused because the sparks who were on the line, have been lured to the Spurs job as the money being offered is to good to turn down.

That's over simplifing it, but yes it would have had some effect.Rothko said:Interesting theory, which any you in the building trade might be able to answer. Game against Man city will now be at Wembley on a Monday night (because the NFL are playing there at the weekend), and all 3 of their champions league group matches will also be at Wembley.0

No chance - give up a long term contract for three months work?Rothko said:Interesting theory, which any you in the building trade might be able to answer. Should be made to play at Wembley for rest of season, or groundshare with MK.1

Good little video here explaining how the retractable pitch will give way for the NFL approved synthetic area. All clever stuff.

What would Paddy Powell think?0

Shouldn't have any problems with the lines of the pitch, when it's time to put them down.Covered End said:1 -

Didn't want to risk losing anymore of his cab-driving fanbase in the event any of them caught a glimpse of any premier league stars of the future whilst visiting the Valley.Valley27000 said:Yes why did spurs not approach Charlton to use the Valley?.

reports of fights between rival gangs of sparkies over who gets the best contracts .. some work has been done twice and three times over .. 'widespread; snorting of Bolivia's finest .. all down to the lack of an overall company/strategy responsible for building co-ordination .. so says the 'Times' .. stadium might not be ready until next season0

Prefer the Jimmy Seed stand.1

Not as good as The Vetch Field...0

Agreed. Looks top drawer. Shame about the wait but once completed they’ll have one hell of a stadium.RodneyCharltonTrotta said:Looks quality

Its bloody impressive0 -
It's lovely but in a boring way. New stadiums all look so similar.
At least they've tried on this one to do something different with the one giant stand on one end.3
