They can all have 10 for effort in my opinion, but in terms of performance
Phillips: 7 - looks like an accident waiting to happen and he knows that he is one howler away from being dropped but on the whole he did well. Bad communications with centre half’s, especially Bauer but can’t criticise too much given a couple of (nearly) game saving saves.
Bauer: 7 - see above. I think Phillips made Bauer look bad a couple of times but overall a solid display.
Bielik: 8 MOM. Like the cut of this guys gib. Could be good in midfield once Pearce is back.
Sarr: 7 - typical Naby. Some real class disguised as Bambi on ice.
Solly: 7 - more like the old Solly last night
Pratley: 6 - first time I have seen him and he didn’t look up to the hype. But you can see there is a player there. A bad night at the office. He’s probably knackered given his pre-season
Morgan: 6 - thought he did well given the fact he spent most of his time on the pitch afraid to tackle given his booking (which despite the ref’s other indiscretions, was totally justified
Aribo: 6 - woeful first half to the extent I wondered what was wrong with him. As good in the second as he was bad in the first.
Page: 6 - could criticise a lot about his display but I won’t as he had absolutely nothing in front of him till Ajose came on. He’s better than I thought he was going to be after his first few appearances.
Taylor: 6 - curate’s egg. An upgrade on Josh but end product not there (yet). And real petulance to earn a booking even though he was frustrated. Will reserve judgement till I’ve seen half a dozen games.
Grant: 6. Brain and feet in different hemispheres but looked dangerous at times. Ajose looked better when he came on.
Ajose: 7 - good cameo but if he played like this all the time he’d be the first name on the sheet. The fact that he isn’t tells you all you need to know.

Phillips: 7 - Was brave and made the one on one save.
Bauer: 6.5 - Some good challenges.
Bielik: 8 - Looked class. Really impressed with his heading (was worried he would be a bit weak on that). Was well balanced and if he stays fit, he'll be a major asset this season.
Sarr: 6.5 - Has to shoulder a lot of responsibility for starting moves and a few will go wrong. Seemed to read the game quite well. Just wish he was more of a threat at set-pieces. His two headers in his first season have not been followed up.
Solly: 6.5 - Stuck at it well.
Pratley: 6 - Seemed to tire in the last half hour but closed down well and competed in the air.
Morgan: 6 - He's got some bright ideas and spots runs ahead of him. Very promising.
Aribo: 7 - Definitely doing more of the dirty work now. Finishing wasn't there last night but he looks good for quite a few goals this season. One lovely low ball in behind their back four in the 2nd half.
Page: 6 - Lots of effort and he looks pretty quick.
Taylor: 6 - Plenty of effort and a couple of snap shots that were close (1st half past post and 2nd half against keeper?). Comes alive in the box....he'll do well.
Grant: 6 - Wasn't in it much 1st half and showed some very heavy touches but got into it later on and did look a threat but needs to take shots early in the box.
Ajose: 7 - Buzzed around nicely and played some really good passes. Changed the tempo when he came on.0 -

Phillips: 6 The distribution thing's been done to death but it clearly needs working on. Controlled his box well though.
Bauer: 5.5 Not up to his recent standard but alongside another new CB.
Bielik: 7.5 Followed up his excellent debut at Stanley. Reads the game v well and has quality on the ball.
Sarr:7.5 A lot more more good than bad these days.
Solly: 6 Put everything in - the Tuesday games don't appear to be such an issue now - but lacks the genuine pace for a modern wing back.
Pratley: 5.5 Understandably seemed to suffer more than most from the Saturday - Tuesday schedule but had to play.
Morgan: 6 Persevered well and tried to play forward but was well marshalled.
Aribo: 6 Joe has real talent and is growing stronger but now finds himself a little deeper than ideal so is less able to hurt the opposition.
Page: 6.5 Like Solly possibly lacks the pace to frighten his opposite number but really stuck at it and is improving all the time.
Taylor: 4 Please stop backing in, falling over, and looking exasperated, even at crap refs! More capable than that - let's see it.
Grant: 6 Can't fault his running but it has to stick better when we need an out ball.
Ajose: 7 Not a fan but made a genuine difference just by holding on to the ball and changing the direction of the attack or drawing free kicks. Grant and Taylor take note.0 -

Still too angry to elaborate on my player marks too much!
Like the look of the Arsenal youngster. Bauer was strong, the front two worked very hard with no protection from the ref and Ajose was a livewire when he came on.
We should definitely not be playing the ball out from the back with Sarr! His passing was shocking, but he defended reasonably tbf to him!0 -
