Well, that softens the blow of Gomez going. Maybe we're going to start playing keepers at centre half.7

We do like signing a GK don't we.0

Sounds good to me!
With Hyseni and Maynard-Brewer all signed up... I don't know what everyone is panicking about!!!!!!!!!1 -

But the poster who named him isn't a reliable source : - )Paddy Powell said:He got a mention in this thread back in April. One of 8 new scholars next season.

Think this must be the young man that we met a year or so ago when he was at SL with Andy Petterson.
Good to learn we've taken him on .0 -
Good to have some competition for the next Vincent Enyeama2

His name sounds like he should be a TV chef1

Asked my mate as he is a fan and season ticket holder of ECU Joondalup under 20's team. He reckons this young man is too tall to make it.11

Just rushed back indoors...
A signing...
A GOALKEEPER?
Fuck you Charlton.4 -

Should run Crossbars or Bartrams.

Wicket or Goal ?1

Can't tell for sure from that photo, but Andy Petterson has definitely been his biggest influence if that's a bit of a "curtains" haircut going on!!

I've actually seen an ECU Joondalup match over in WA funnily enough. Terrible standard, many (not your fat CB's mind) Sunday League footballers over here could hack it.Athletico Charlton said:Asked my mate as he is a fan and season ticket holder of ECU Joondalup under 20's team. But goalkeepers are all about raw talent and working with it, I'm sure this boy has it.

A very good kid and very talented. Performed for us well above his years. Played for our U18s when he was just a 13 and went to the national youth tournament and rated one of best. Huge talent, fearless and driven. Certainly not too tall!!
Has also been training with our A-League teams youth squad with Danny Milosevic - former Leeds keeper who rates him one of best in a long time.
We will all be following his progress from Joondalup and hope he can follow in the footsteps of some of our other players like Williams (Middlesbrough) Herd and Lyden (Villa) Taggart and Williams (Fulham), Lowry (Millwall/Orient) and many many others.11 -

Sounds like a positive lad, who’s been on an incredible journey the last 4-5yrs. Good luck to him, if he turns out to be half as good as Andy Petterson we’ll be laughing! Who’s that saving goals, who’s that saving goals? Ashley Maynard Brewer...Ashley Maynard brewer!0

Close knit squad. Small in other words.1

You save shots not goals.0

If he's only half as good as Petterson, he'll be pretty rubbish actually!YTS1978 said:Sounds like a positive lad, who’s been on an incredible journey the last 4-5yrs. Lord help us this season.1

Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere, but am I the only one who thinks he looks really small? FIFA has him down at 5'7", which I don't think is true. But TransferMarkt has him down at 6'3", which I also doubt. Last I checked our website doesn't have a height for him. Has anyone met him or reckon they can give a good estimation based on seeing him play in person?
#TheImportantQuestions0 -
He’s definTely 6’3”. Been taller than me for the past 2 years - and I’m his old man!!31

Passes the CL height tests. No worries, cobber.
