Russia break through 110KM (113KM total) covered for the 4th time in 5 games in around 3 weeks, plus 4 days after covering an incredible 147KM in a game that went to extra time.
We all saw the state the England players got in when it got deeper into extra time on Tuesday night... so you would expect the Russians to be similarly knackered and struggling - cramps etc.

Both Russia and Croatia played 120 mins in the last round. They're going 120 mins this round. Our win in 90 mins against Sweden looks to have given us a small advantage over both these teams.
Our opponents are going to be knackered on only a few days rest.1 -
when did I mention the word drugs in my post? I am suggesting the Russian fitness team are working miracles and belong at a top premier league or champions league team because they are clearly doing something exceptional...0

If a 39 year old can manage 2 120 minute matches in a 4 day turnover then maybe Johnnie Jackson can still do a job for us for the next 4 seasons... We just need to find these completely fair and above board fitness methods the Russians are using....1

why did they not sub subasic as soon as extra time started? no point keeping on your penalty specialist 'keeper if the only reason you get to penalties is that he made a mistake while injured. he very nearly cost them there1

Russia are awful and Croatia aren’t much better. Genuinely think we have a great chance against either. Croatia will be the bigger test, but lock down modric and rakitic and we might be okay.1
