By then it is too late though and it should have been a penalty, minimal contact or not.
Something I missed from watching the replays the first time around as I was so focused on watching the second contact and where the ball was at that point.0 -
I think it should have been a penalty. But not as clear cut as I probably thought earlier0

They reached the last 8, so it's not as if they crashed out early anyway, but teams should only be there on the merit of their current players, and not on fading memories of Pele and 1970.7 -
We've now stayed in the tournament longer than Germany, Portugal, Argentina, Spain, Uruguay and Brazil. Would've got ridiculous odds on that 3 weeks ago.3

I’d rather Belgium win regardless. If we’re lucky enough to make the final, I really couldn't face losing to the French. Belgium (Sparta from Roland) are pretty irrelevant.
