In the 80s I had my hair highlighted. I remember having a rubber cap with tiny holes in it put on and them picking out bits to colour! I no longer have hair so a distant memory. What I would say is that I don't miss hair at all although it bothered me when it started to go. And I have known girls who go crazy for a shaven head! Not now - years ago - being happily married for nearly 20 years! - had to add that. Not sure that is great advice for Paulie but anybody losing their hair - shave it! That is good advice.0

Sorry to hear you got dismissed @paulie8290 it's a shit, especially because (and this is an assumption) that it was possibly down to a mental health issues and continues to prove that (another assumption that you were unpaid sick leave by this point) a stigma is still attached to mental wellbeing, as you'd have been no cost to them and they could have easily got in a temp until you're suitably able to work again.
