Never rated him from the off couldn't stand his post match interviews with the Franchise and the chickens are coming home to roost. Talks the talk but can't walk the walk, has never played the game at senior level which he's very conscious of, by having surrounded himself with ex pros.

Personally I don't see that it matters much if they've played the game at a high level. Plenty of very good coaches/managers haven't. And also doesn't your second point contradict your first? Seems you'd have a problem if he didn't have ex pros as coaches?

“Go Home and I’ll see you in preseason” .....classic.

This is from a parody account right? No manager would insult their clubs supporters by actually suggesting his players jack it in this season and yet still expect to be in the side come August, would they? Even as some sort of weird motivational kick up the arse

Tell you what Karl, maybe those supporters travelling up to Blackpool in the week should take your advice too and call it a day for the season...
Is it? Big whoosh for me then. How sad though that I could actually believe that coming out of his mouth.
No mate it's not you being whooshed at all. As per the link he did actually say this. Bloody hell, what a mess this club is in.

Will we lose 3-0 by default on Tuesday, when the whole squad stays at home ?

We will probably lose 3-0 if they stay at home or not.

I never said high level, I said senior level ie as a full time professional in the top four divisions which is a different definition so we're not talking about the same thing. As for my second point I have no problem with him surrounding himself with ex pros and I would probably do the same but it's down to him with the final decisions on tactics and team selection and he doesn't have his own depth of playing experience to call upon. Hope that clarifies things.

If we lose 3-0 by defualt that means we forfiet the game by not physically turning up as to mentally. Having the game abandonned because we have 5 players sent off etc.... We will only lose 3-0 because they have physically scored 3 goals and we have scored none.

I have been worried about him since the post match interview last season where he was almost in tears saying he didn't know what to do. He admitted he had run out of ideas. Not the best thing for a manager to admit!

Which game was that he was nearly in tears?

Seeing that interview I am convinced the man has completely lost his marbles! When are the men in white coats coming for him?

Only when the takeover goes through.

Just heard his interview. It's pretty much the same as his last twenty interviews.Broken recordesque
There's not really much in the locker when it comes to Karl Robinson.

He summed up the match pretty well.

Anyone else happy to see Jacko till end of the season??

Long shot I know but I feel like it would have a bit of a Powell effect, steady up at the back, and the fans chanting the managers name again. At least some sort of lift.

I don't see how Jackson is remotely qualified. Give it to Euell.

Yes, yes I’m beginning to understand now. Incidentally, I think your spellchecker has failed to turn up

There will be no manager changes until the takeover is completed and there may be no takeover... pretty depressing. We are not going up, that is obvious. Even if we suddenly changed manager and signed a Warnock type we would still not get promoted as the squad is too unbalanced and has been all year.

These football cycles take their time. A new regime might spell hope that we are on the way up again but the Spivs are a dodgy memory and a warning.

Not really sure it makes much difference what level they've played at. Nice to see you've backtracked on the second point.

I do like him and he is trying to buy into but I am starting to think it's a case of "right manager, wrong time".

He’s a complete gobshite and one of the most 1 dimensional managers I’ve ever seen. Buying into the club is a mask for how shit a manager he is. We need to kick his fat arse into touch.

I don't know what game it was when KR was nearly in tears but I can tell you that I have nearly been in tears at every home game I have been to this season when I have seen the team line up with only one striker.

He’s not. Bet he would do a better job than Robinson.

That said, I wouldn’t want Jackson or Euell.

Nothing will change, KR is safe until the takeover happens...then it's totally up to the new owners. If it happens this week I would say it's worth a gamble to get someone new in just to start the rebuild early. A few results and we could grab 6th which traditionally is for the team with that late desperate dip for the line.

What we need is for the takeover to be complete, but I can't honestly see that happening soon.

He plays people out of position just to suit his formation. Aribo isn't a number 10, his star signing is who he hardly plays. He persists playing Magennis who isn't a striker who can play on his own. In a 4231 the full back are the most exposed in this formation, Da Silva can cope with this but clearly Solly can't. We have the players that should be doing so much better.

    All spot on.

I think it was the game where the pies weren’t delivered in time.

Ha ha, I haven't backtracked at all, you misinterpreted where I was coming from and drew the wrong conclusion and you've just done it again. I can't help you with that.

You of course are entitled to your opinion as I am mine and we are clearly at odds here. KR has no pedigree which added to his other shortcomings like it or not, is why he's on burrowed time takeover or not. Others like Lenny or the Cowley brothers at Lincoln have other attributes to balance out their managerial capabilities. Just out of interest reel me off some managers that have been really successful (winning silverware) and have never played at a senior level.

My info was based on thesackrace.com as of Sunday morning 11th March. Yours must be from a different bookies. So it's a very fragile market.
