Well lets just agree that managers whose names include the letters K, a, r and l are probably best avoided.hoof_it_up_to_benty said:
We were in the Championship at the time- okay maybe KF just shades it?MrLargo said:
Can't wait to see the back of Robbo, but until he manages to get knocked out of the cup by the bottom team in the league below and then follows it up with 5-0 and 6-0 defeats in consecutive matches, I think Karel's status as the worst of the worst is safe.hoof_it_up_to_benty said:
I actually don't think KF would have done a worse job - Robinson is the real deal when it comes to being useless.Henry Irving said:

Planing for next season is a problem as well Stu.Charlton_Stu said:If we don't beat Blackpool on Tuesday then season is all but over for us, may as well plan for next season with different personnel, don't like to change manager too often but his tactics are useless and the players are mostly individuals not a team.
We can’t do anything until we have new owners. All of our problems stem from one man. We have had shit manager after shit manager since Powell was given the boot. Robinson is just another 2 bob chancer. We need to clear the decks and start again.
The play offs are still in reach, but we simply aren’t good enough to warrant a top 6 finish. Even if we did reach them, we wouldn’t make the final.
Robinson does need to go....but unless he jacks it in himself, he’s not going anywhere until we’ve got a new man at the top pulling the punches.
I’m just glad we have enough points to stay up, because of we were 10 points off, I’d be putting a few quid on relegation.
I can’t actually remember the last time we played well. The Walsall game we looked ok in parts, but they were pretty pony at the back that day.
It’s all a great big pile of steaming horse shit.0 -

He was shit when he arrived and he’s got absolutely no class. Only way he goes is if a takeover goes through, if it does he’s straight out the door. Club needs a complete overhaul from top to bottom. It didn’t when RD and KM arrived but it sure as hell does now.27

Is there anyway we can get Roland to send Karl an email describing the use of two forwards in a single actual same game? Maybe then the clegnut might try to win a game...4

I've heard that Mickey Mouse wears a Karl Robinson watch....CH4RLTON said:Championship stadium, big budget, one of the best squads in the league, mickey mouse manager.

There's no more defending him. He has had more resources than any other manager and whilst we are a bit unbalanced it's probably the best group of players we've had since the regime dismantled Powell's squad. Yet we have a manager who cannot coax a run of results out of HIS players.
The sooner the takeover goes through and they show him the exit, the better.9 - Sponsored links:

Sitting watching MOTD listening to Frank Lampard speak, extremely knowledgeable, articulate and likeable. We could be just the club he needs to start his managerial career under new owners.0

Wanna know how Karl he is doing? We are doing worse than Palace since late November.
Last 17 league matches....
CAFC:
4 wins, 5 draws, 8 losses
17 points
17 goals scored
Palace

I have been worried about him since the post match interview last season where he was almost in tears saying he didn't know what to do. He admitted he had run out of ideas. Not the best thing for a manager to admit!0
-
He might be a nice bloke but as a manager he's utter cack and talks bollocks. I wish he'd just keep his gob shut.
The season is effectively over bar a miracle and I hope he leaves before next season.1 -
Ah, it certainly has. But its easier to blame Robinson. Players were to blame yesterday. Simple as that.kentaddick said:Simply don’t have the depth in quality in the squad for any kind of successful season, whatever a “success” would be. Been like that since Duchatelet arrived.

Who built, trains, picks the squad and chooses the tactics for those players?JamesSeed said:

Sure, the players have to take their full share of responsibility but if it's all down to them what does Robinson do?
He's the supposed to be their manager.
Two seasons ago Robinson's MK Dons were relegated bottom of the league and below a "basket case of a club" (quote from Karl Robinson) who'd been managed by Karel Fraeye's.
Last season MK Dons kept their decline going post relegation and Robinson was sacked with the team in the lower half of the division.
He then gets the Charlton job on the basis of "giving us the best chance of promotion". We flirt with relegation.
This season we start well but with an unbalanced and injury prone squad that is very quickly sussed out tactically by every other manager in the league.
Robinson promises we will never be outside the play-off positions.
Our record this season against other top 12 sides is poor.
But let's blame the players because Robinson has "passion".43 - Sponsored links:

His players. He has had long enough in charge to mould a team and put his stamp on it.JamesSeed said:

Over 70 games in charge, 3 transfer windows and a pig awful record this season against the top half teams in this poor league. Players have to take some responsibility but so does he and I have rarely heard/read him take some blame for the results on the pitch.JamesSeed said:

If it was a one off game maybe but the bloke is clueless, continues to stick with a system that clearly is not working and appears to have completely lost the dressing room.
Totally out of his depth even allowing for the RD factor.15 -
This is from a parody account right? No manager would insult their clubs supporters by actually suggesting his players jack it in this season and yet still expect to be in the side come August, would they? Even as some sort of weird motivational kick up the arseNug said:“Go Home and I’ll see you in preseason” .....classic.
Tell you what Karl, maybe those supporters travelling up to Blackpool in the week should take your advice too and call it a day for the season...2 -
Never rated him from the off couldn't stand his post match interviews with the Franchise and the chickens are coming home to roost. Talks the talk but can't walk the walk, has never played the game at senior level which he's very conscious of, by having surrounded himself with ex pros.
Ah but neither had Lenny you might say; he was one of the exceptions to rule, a man with integrity and honesty and far removed from the intransigent, scouse Del Boy, who wants to be mates with everyone, trying to play like Barcelona in the English third division.
KR was the best of a bad bunch at the time but he knew full well what he was getting himself into and his days are numbered. If he's got any sense he'll take the Oxford job with no tears from me. See ya!11 -

He should listen to his own words -don’t bother and go home.
As for seeing them in pre-season - good luck with that.4 -
Is it? Big whoosh for me then. How sad though that I could actually believe that coming out of his mouth.Bournemouth Addick said:

Bit awkward seeing that the fans themselves dont think we can achieve promotion!!0

Why aren't they doing it for him then, and i dont just mean yesterday? Because over a prolonged period we've had mid-table form. Don't tell me our players aren't good enough because I look up and see poorer squads in better league positions.JamesSeed said:

Either the players don't buy into his nonsense and don't want to play for him or he hasn't got the first clue how to manage this squad. Either way it means he shouldn't be here.3
