Yes indeed - I went to see them a couple of weeks back and was blown away by the quality of their live performance. Talk about Vocal harmony. I've been listening to their album since March time and was thinking they sound too good to be true but my instinct was wrong.

If you love fleet foxes you'll love Bon Iver

I must admit, I heard they were being hyped up in the music rags and music sections of the broadsheets, and I thought oh that means they'll be the same as the Magic Numbers that people harped on about (i.e. complete shyte)...

...Couldn't be more wrong - the press have got it right for once - Can't stop playing the album.

    2. Never miss a beat- Kaiser Chiefs

Have you seen the video to this? There is a programme on VH1 and MTV about it at the moment. It was filmed at Thamesmead and Elephant and Castle and the director James Slater is our friend. its on today about 5pm I think so watch it if you can!

I wondered who noah and the elephant were. I also love noah and the whale and have played it over and over in my car for 3 weeks solid. saw them at Get Loaded and they were awesome.
  • [cite]Posted By: suzisausage[/cite]I wondered who noah and the elephant were.

They are a tribute band to Noah and the Whale but their sets are much shorter as all the songs are trunkated.

    Coat...
  • Yeah my dad mentioned that never miss a beat as filmed at thamesmead the song is about kids so why film it at thamesmead
  • if you watch the documentry (its on VH1 NOW!) it says that they wanted a place with levels, walk ways, bridges - i dunno director vision or something! the kids on the thamesmead estate threw bricks at them whilst they were shooting the video, so they filmed the 2nd day at elephant and castle.
