Personally, I know the debate has been done on here, but I hope we keep Ajose and sign Reeves.

Lots of options and there are still 8 days to go.

Robinson certainly not as upbeat and confident in recent interviews but he may just be playing his cards closer to his chest after missing out on Carruthers and being knocked by by MK Dons over Reeves.

Don't doubt that the Club and Karl are trying but I think the small budget (£400k rumoured and that includes Page and JFK) but the big Lookman fee might well be making it more difficult.

What won't help is Charlton being seen as a "basket case" (quote from K Robinson last season) and drifting along in mid-table (compare and contract with Carruthurs & Sheffied Utd).

I still expect one or two more but a few going out as well. Roland doesn't like squads of more than 28 players.

On the grounds that we won't catch Sheffield anyway, that might dent the prospects of one our playoff rivals. A nice optimistic thought anyway

They also tried to sign George Moncur from Barnsley but this fell through due to the new emergency loan rules.

I really get the feeling that Robinsons definition of a Marquee signing could be very different to ours ! What Bent or Yann are on the way back to push us into the playoffs !

Indeed. I believe the word Marquee has been somewhat lost in translation. Even more surprising as I believe the word derives from French and that being Latrien's native language!
