I've had a cracking day for Rugby; first watching London Irish at the Madejski further cementing their status at the top of the Championship, and now this.
I should be working in Dublin on and off for the next few weeks; hopefully I'll be able to take in the return match over a couple of pints somewhere.3 -

Amazing game. I always think that the All Blacks will just turn on their 7th gear and run away with it, but weren't able to yesterday. Ireland were class.0

Caught the last 10 of the Scotland/Australia game. Scots with a 6 point lead and Aussies a man down. What could go wrong??
Thought the crowd were pretty poor, with no respect for the kicker as Australia converted for a winning point.
Scotland kept it alive for 4 minutes over the 80, but couldn't get close enough for a drop and Aussies kept him their cool to avoid a pen, until the ball went loose and out.0 - Sponsored links:

That's a very good result for England against the Saffers. Watching some of the highlights & the South African defence leaves a bit to be desired, but England looking to be improving more under Jones.stonemuse said:Excellent England win today ...great to see after the Charlton dross

England R U is showing the importance of a decent coaching staff and manager .. with pretty much the same playing personnel the performances under Jones compared to Lancaster are water to wine, brick to gold, abject failure to potential world beaters ((:>)4

So Ireland's 2nd string saw off Canada by 52-21 after running in 8 tries. A little laboured at times and Canada came back well early on with a quick two tries to level it at 14-14 at one stage, but Ireland eventually found their way through.
A run out, if nothing else, for O'Mahony & O'Brien after injury and a debut for 8 players, including Ringrose who will be a cracking player.
Most people's minds wandering to next Saturday at 5pm.

off to twickenham tommorow for us against argies, any recomendations where to go for the footie after the match, dont know whether to head back to waterloo and watch in sports bar there or any other suggestions, if leaving on full time what is roughly the queue to get on to a train?

Try the Weatherspoons in the High Street, same side as the station just walk past the station until you find it. I think it's called the William Web Ellis, other wise probably a wait of about 1/2 hr 45mins for a train depending on how quick you manage to exit the stadium.

As @Horsfield9 said, the Weatherspoons, the William Webb Ellis, is pretty good, although all the Twickenham pubs will be pretty rammed. There is also a big sports bar, Rileys, very close by at 1 Heath Rd, Twickenham TW1 4AW, with huge HD screens and pool tables etc - http://www.rileys.co.uk/ That might be a decent shout if everywhere is packed0 -
I'd get away from twickenham and back to Waterloo to watch it. The wetherspoons def won't have it on. I don't like this trend of punishing players for shit refereeeing, and rugby referees at the international level is dogshit at the moment. So many poor or wrong decisions being made today and in the last few weeks, can't remember the last time officials were this incompetent.1
