The Checkatrade trophy? WTF is that?4
-
Shrewsbury v Cambridge
Wimbledon v Swansea
Bet those two will be LOW0 -
296
Fleetwood vs Blackburn academy1 -
Oh it's the Johnstone paints trophy.0
-
At least the Football League have put Scunthorpe v Middlesbrough in as the earliest fixture.
After all it wouldn't make sense to have Shrewsbury or Cambridge v Middlesbrough later in winter when fans are going to be even less enthusiastic about travelling long distances in the cold when trains / roads might be screwed!!0 -
Blackpool v Cheltenham fewer than 400.0
-
I think there will be a couple of 200 ish attendances . Blackpool being one.0
-
Accrington barely get much more than 1500 for league games so they should be the lowest0
-
29 matches tonight, 1 on Wednesday.
Total attendance no more than 20,000.
(Although KM will probably announce our gate tonight as 27,111 ...)5 -
Portsmouth tweeted that they had only sold 'just over 100' this morning.

pointless and a waste of time early stages should be played at the training ground.0

In fairness that's not bad going for a pointless midweek cup game away to Yeovil!SouthWest_Addicks said:Portsmouth tweeted that they had only sold 'just over 100' this morning.

That reminds me of us playing Millwall in the Anglo Italian cup...0 -
Think Pompey are boycotting though due to the academy teams playing.SouthWest_Addicks said:Portsmouth tweeted that they had only sold 'just over 100' this morning.

We took 300 to Plymouth on a Tuesday night in the third round last season. Which i thought was pretty good. Thought we'd take about 50 tops.
We took 1500 to Oxford! But that was in the area SF.1 -
Lowest reported crowd so far tonight,392 at Fleetwood v Blackburn [82 visiting fans].
Some other attendances
585 at Accrington v Crewe [110 visiting fans]
461 at Wimbledon v Swansea
1540 at Bolton v Everton-lowest ever crowd at the Macron stadium.0 -

saw something on twitter about fans of the u23 clubs deliberately boycotting as its a farce of a tournament, get there point a club like mansfield getting a big day out at wembley is what it should be about.0
-
Can't believe how low the turnout was.
When was the last time Charlton scored 5 goals in a competitive game at the Valley?0 -
I'm not sure what's more concerning, this whole shambles of a tournament, or the fact Millwall had twice as many home fans as us0

What were Millwall charging last night?0

£5 probably about right for this nonsense of a competition. Not that I'll be going to many.0

260 Saints fans bought tickets, not sure 260 actually attended.MuttleyCAFC said:

It was said that any fans buying tickets for last night would earn extra priority points for their away league games.0 -
How ridiculous!0

Got to laugh, the head of Checkatrade said this when they took over:
"We're delighted to be associated with so many well respected and prestigious clubs participating in the Checkatrade Trophy and we look forward to engaging with fans over the coming season"
Not quite sure he had the likes of Brighton and Reading's U23s in mind!2 -
I'm disappointed that over 1,000 Charlton fans actually attended this debacle of a competition.10
