I don't want Wilder to be manager now. This has gone beyond what is best for the club, it's about making Colin look even more stupid.23

Why can't ANYTHING be handled professionally by our bumbling, incompetent, joke of a Chief Executive?
FFS any bloke or woman off the street could do a better job than that dozy cow.7 -

Maybe Chris Wilde has asked that KM resigning be inserted in his contract.
Which would only be a sensible thing to request.
Turning up for an interview and requesting the current chief executive be removed from their post is always a good move!

Will be nuts if this falls through, whatever CW said to the Northampton chairman must have been pretty convincing that he was leaving - the bloke was basically writing off the possibility that he was staying on the radio on Monday night.0
-
Yeah our chairman was resigned to the fact CW was gone, due to wages offered and budget offered or something.0

12:35 Charlton Athletic's response to our request for an update...
We've just come off the phone to Charlton's press department, who tell us they have not been given any updates from the owners.
The press officer told us the latest they have is what was announced on Monday, which you can read here: http://www.northampton-news-hp.co.uk/Northampton-Town-regrettably-Charlton-Athletic/story-29249357-detail/story.html

If Chris Wilder has indeed rejected us, does this mean Katrien will be interviewing another 20 applicants again?7 -
If he rejects us we will know about it from Northampton - until an announcement one way or the other we don't know.2

During these tense final stages of intricate contract negotiations, this is when Meire's lawyering skills really come to fore.

Personally, I'm so non-plused with Charlton that at the moment I'm not bothered if Wilder joins or not.
In a way I hope the Wilder thing drags on and on. The more nonsense that makes our owners look like jokers the better. Give it Nobby Vinegar Roly and be done with it.4 -
Surely time to call back Riga for a third spell?11
-
In that case, it's perfectly reasonable. I'm with the club on this.ShootersHillGuru said:I've heard it's sticking on Wilder's pronounciation of the word "Appy"

Turning into a shambles this. Suppose this is typical of the way Charlton is run right now?
Can't sympathise enough with you all.12 -
I won't believe it until it's on the (Northampton) OS.MuttleyCAFC said:If he rejects us we will know about it from Northampton - until an announcement one way or the other we don't know.
