  • Another good result for the yoof. Nice if 2 or 3 of these could step up to Championship standard...WHeN THEY aRE READY !!

That said there are plenty of players like Ahearne Grant who excel at 17 and fall away after without ever getting a chance to play first team football...maybe the pressure got to him, maybe he just was not up to it.

Always going to be tough as a striker going from being lauded in a youth team, believing the hype and having the confidence enhanced because of it to stepping up to first team and performing.

Not writing him off just saying that it is not necessarily exposure at too young an age that has affected him.

Edwards was excellent as usual, I would like to see him kick on next season and get a place in the first team squad.

First time I've seen him. Looks a bit lightweight but reads the game very well.

    Looks like a 4-2-3-1

Konsa and C-C holding Aribo, Lookman and KAG behind Umerah?

Someone who is there can correct me..

Not there but could be 4-3-3 unless someone is playing out of position.

    Yet another scout turns up.

Hilarious. Do we usually have this many scouts turn up for an U21s game? Or is it by invitation perhaps...

Both Kag and Lookman should excel at this level.

0-0 at the half. Very even game reckon one goal either way will nick it. Cook running the show. One great save each by both keepers . Grant totally lost all his confidence .

What a joke! So much for Meire's 'We can watch future premier league stars' in the games! Only if you are a scout at the U21 games. The rest of us get a few minute cameo in the Championship. Even that rubbish is lies.
