Well done the crowd for getting behind the boys and not causing any trouble.
Is this a library ?
Were there not 2000 in the car park demonstrating for 2 hours? If not, why not?
Seriously, great result. You can see why a shrewd businessbastard like RD would spot an opportunity to asset strip. Our youth set up is fantastic. Well done (the lads of course, no one remotely Belgian...)
Totally agree with above. What has happened to Grant. Charles Cook having an excellent game. We look a good unit.
Too much pressure too soon IMHO
Was built up as the next big thing when 16 or 17 (he's only 18 now) got played too much and often out of position and in a struggling side. How many managers has he played under already?
Came back from what sounds like an unsuccessful loan and back in the U21s, which is no shame at 18 and 1/2, and needs to find his mojo again.
Really hope that Ahearne-Grant gets his mojo back...
Will never forget him against Fulham away last season when he came on and was excellent
Got to be a phsychological thing having played in the 1st team and been in and around it to being sent out on loan and then stood down to the U21's again. Needs a fatherly arm around him and some words of wisdom, Brian Clough style 'pull yourself together lad you look like a pair of curtains'.
Final score 2-0 should have been more. Hope we don't fail to win the league on goal difference!!
Only ones from starting 11 I would ditch were fwiw Beeney, Barnes, Obileye and Kennedy. Keep Grant but only on performances previously as total cack this afternoon. Rangers woeful as are there under 18's - like us a club in turmoil
