The service was never too great to begin with but since the start of the year it's become noticeably worse!

Total shambles at Charing cross. C#£ts, utter utter c$%ts. They apologise for any inconvenience this may cause though, so no problem really, stop moaning everyone.

So, so incompetent, anyone would think Miere was their CEO.

Breathing room only on the fast from Cannon Street earlier. Only made bearable by the driver putting the pedal to the metal to make the journey as brief as possible!

Doesnt seem that bad at New Cross. 2 Bexleyheath trains stopped, followed by a Sidcup train and all three were half empty.

Carnage already tonight. Couldn't even get on to my Hastings train at Ldn Bridge. Now on Orpington where I will change to Tonbridge or maybe even to Tun Wells and beyond. Have Doc appt at 5.30pm, cant see me making that. Shouldn't even be in today but had appt for surgery postponed for two weeks. Very pissed off at the moment.

Mrs H has just called me from Cannon Street....on her way to T. Wells and will call me again from there...going to be a late pick up from Battle me thinks.
  • Two things would happen if Southeastern opened a pub inside Lewisham station:

    1) Their profits would increase ten fold due to the consistent delays and cancellations of trains from this station (they often run late trains fast through Lewisham so they get to their destination on time thus avoiding a fine).
    2) I would become a raving alcoholic.

They are by far the most poorly run company I have ever come across and I work in Corporate Finance so have come across a fair few in my time.

    Total c***s!!

Thanks. It's been unsettling me past couple of hours but I can relax now I know you're now on the way to Hastings.

Had 2 meetings in the City and decided to try the train tonight. Walked in to Cannon St at 4.15 and turned around & walked straight back out to the DLR at Bank. Don't know why I even bothered trying!

Had I looked at this thread earlier though...Spooooooooonnnnnsssss!!!!!

    Who would you rather have?
    Southeastern in charge of CAFC

    or

    Duchatelet in charge of SouthEastern?

    Only train bods need apply

so I expect all of you to give an opinion.

The latter. I can walk to work if it comes to it, I'm stuck with Charlton though.

My delay repay for Zone 1-5 for 30-60 minutes amounts to £2.10.

Tonight, at 18.20 I arrived at CX thinking I would have to go for a drink with my work colleagues. The 18.23 was kindly waiting though, fully packed for me, how lucky was I?
