    Henderson - 7.5 some saves kept us in it, kicking is awful
    Solly - 7 done well
    Teixeira - 7 nulled their attack, went forward a couple of times
    Lennon - 6 couple of silly fouls and panicked clearances
    Fox - 6.5 better than recently, still loses the ball too much
    Berg Gudmundsson - 6.5 had a couple of chances to score, needs to beat the first first man more
    Cousins - 7 went off injured, couple of great lung busting runs
    Jackson - 6 should have scored header, losing touch with his man too often
    Bergdich - 6.5 shouldn't be booed by his own for wayward couple of moves, he offers pace and protects Fox better than other wingers
    Makienok - 7.5 won every header and shouldn't be booked for being tall and strong
    Reza - 6 full of running but not much else
    Ba - 6.5 kept the ball moving and is combatitive

    Sanogo n/a decent cameo, a bit awkward but held the up well

    Henderson 8 a few good saves, a few good catches
    Solly 6.5 good but occasionally wayward passing
    Teixeira 7 a steadying presence
    Lennon 6.5 thought he looked much better than usual but not quite the finished article
    Fox 6.5 had a good game on the whole
    JBG 7 looked up for it and played some lovely flicks, we should have scored from at least one of his set-pieces
    Cousins 6.5 looked good while he lasted, one shot was definitely going in, maybe didn't exert quite the influence he could have
    Jackson 5.5 bad miss and largely bypassed, did some good defensive work
    Bergdich 6.5 so very nearly a good game, his crossing isn't perfect but Cardiff defended it really well
    Makienok 8 MOM everything but the goal
    Reza 6 full of effort and some skill, end product lacking
    Ba 6.5 an improvement on Jackson

    Henderson - 7; A couple of decent saves but sloppy on crosses, and some distribution (although quick) was a bit tight for the receiver
    Solly - 7.5; Had a good game with little help on his flank
    Teixeira - 6.5; Did OK and played it safe
    Lennon - 6.5; Also did OK and tried to impose himself
    Fox - 6; Started poorly but got a bit better
    Berg Gudmundsson - 7; Decent game always running and probing, and unlucky not to score early on when his shot from 7 yards was blocked
    Cousins - 7; All over the place and surging forwards in 2nd period until injury (we are in trouble if he is out for too long!)
    Jackson - 6; Better game from the skipper, but also now injured, but that might help in the longer term?
    Bergdich - 6.5; Does so many good things but also lots of poor - so hot and cold!
    Makienok - 7.5 (MoM); Won everything in the air and had three goal-bound shots blocked late in 2nd half
    Reza - 6; Ran around like a headless chicken
    Ba - 5.5; Didn't do much other than give the ball away

    I thought Sanogo caused them problems when he came on which is positive and Poyet looked OK too - both will be needed to start soon!
    The ref was OK although he did make some mistakes. At least we went for it towards the end...

    Henderson - 7 - Steady - saved what he had to
    Solly - 7 - Steady and did his job, with some great runs forward near the end
    Teixeira - 6.5 - Steady
    Lennon - 6.5 - Got stuck in.
    Fox - 6 - Steady, helped out by Jackson & Cousins.
    Berg Gudmundsson - 6.5 - Put a shift in & helped attacking intent, missed a Solly overlap near the end
    Cousins - 7 - Had a good game. Went off injured.
    Jackson - 6 - Came close near end of first half, not much else to talk about.
    Bergdich - 5.5 Terrible (out of position, did not keep up with play, Jackson / Cousins had to cover him, nothing in attack. Then Sanogo came on & he improved significantly & combined well with Big San.
    Makienok - 7 - Tried but needed decent striker alongside him which was not Reza.
    Reza - 5- Ran about a lot and showed he wanted the ball, but not very good & got worse as the game went on.
    Ba - 6 - Got stuck in

    Sanogo - Made a difference, held the ball up, distributed well & unsettled the Cardiff defence. Changed the game
    Poyet - Steady enough.

    Riga - lucky to get away with poor team set up as Cardiff were shooting blanks. Enforced Subs worked out.

    Referee - inconsistent and picky broke up flow of the game.

    Crowd - Got going the the last 15 minutes. Flat before.
