Riga played a very defensive formation which left huge gaps in our midfield. I hope him trying to keep cousins on the field for those extra couple of min's hasn't caused more damage to the player.

He will be an important player for us next season in League 1 Fox - 6: did ok, save for one dreadful miskicked clearance in the second half that Ameobi should have buried Berg Gudmundsson - 6: a few good touches but unable to really influence the game. Being essentially our only creative player appears to have taken its toll Cousins - 7: showed great heart and, as usual, got stronger as the game went. Reza - 5 - involved and interested, some sharp movement first half, faded badly second half and that miss was bad. No need for the ironic chants though. Ba - 6 - does one good thing followed by two terrible things, but he gets involved and doesn't hide. Lovely through ball for probably our best bit of build up play. Improved us after he came on and gave us more than Jacko did.

What did ba do in 25 minutes to get a 3?
The 3 was for lack of effort, not tracking back when he had fresh legs. Cousins busted a gut to support the attack then get back into defence, whereas he showed none of that commitment. There was also an attack in which he should have won a 50/50 ball in a good position but due to his slow start lost the ball.
