This will go down in our history.

Along with a useless manager and his amusing sidekick CEO escaping from Colchester in a laundry van, to the music from 'The Great Escape'.

"CARD posted on Twitter that they are not responsible for the form on Companies House."

Does that mean that the site is actually called Companies House and it shouldn't be referred to as the Companies House Website ?
Of all the things commented that's the one error you're going to pick up on?

    Zzzzzzzz, boring.
    True though
    That you are boring, yes.

I think CARD were making a deliberate reference to the wording on the club's official statement. I hope you have emailed the club to point that out too.
    I haven't emailed anyone.

From what I can see standard terminology is to Post it on Companies House / Edit it on Companies House / Remove it from Companies House etc so you don't have to add website or .gov.uk etc. Not sure why it's not possessive though.

A bit like put it into Google. But perhaps Companies House aren't as big a brand, or a house.

So CARD were correct, as was the statement on the CAFC site. But not those that derided it out of instinct. I'll quote some examples in a minute.

I could of course be wrong though and in that case shouldn't have posted it on www.CharltonLife.com

Major comms blunder even acknowledging the story. Still not listening then, Katrien!

What does it even mean: "on Companies House"? On the roof?

Hilarious stuff. Whoever it was, good work. As AB says 'on Companies House', doesn't even make sense. Who puts this crap out?

I might be putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with 5, but my Dad was at The Valley today and the gates to the car park were locked with security on the gates. Roland in town may explain this, although total overkill from them once again
That was to stop people going to the ticket office.

    This is almost entirely perfect.

As a prank, it is high brow and hilarious in nature.

No sexism, no anti Belgian sentiment that anyone can get hold of, just a fantastic prank... No one can say that it is out of order or anything like that

Whoever did this is a Charlton Hero.

You know, I look at that post and genuinely think, 'wow, this guy is really dedicated to spending his time achieving basically nothing,' and I kind of applaud you for that. But I do think, should your life take an upturn and you find yourself really busy with stuff to do and genuine conversation to have, you'll look back at posts like these and think "holy shit, I used to have way too much time on my hands."

Looks fine to me. At work I always say "look them up on companies house" and have never had a comprehension problem from anyone.
  • Guys this is a great piece of PR for our cause, it's a quirky enough news item that the nationals and talk sport etc would run with it

    CARD guys spread the word

Louis get it out ro the beeb

Told you it would break in to the national media

    Louis top work championing it

But that's the point: PL54 does march to the beat of his own drum.
He might be wilfully contrary and bombastic at times but I often agree with his ridiculing of the histrionics and conspiracy theorists concerning all things Charlton.
Because he doesn't toe the CL line doesn't automatically make him a "troll' as the more precious posters would have you believe.
He's a bit different is all, but that doesn't sit easily with an awful lot of people on here.

Upon lead sourcing I came across this company. Scroll to the second picture on the home page. She's everywhere except at the Valley doing what she's paid to do......

    Very good find.

I would be pissed if I hired a company name 'Leaders Consulting' and they sent me someone who couldn't even lead fish to water.
The thing with all this extra curricular shit, is I'd have no problem with it if she was actually good at her job. 2nd from bottom and 2 seasons of moderate to shit football demonstrates that no matter how much she pushes/believes her own bollocks, she's been pissing useless....

All these web summits and women in business stuff is fine if she's doing what she's paid to do, but she's failing at that. I would say the same of a young man in her position as well. She's not even a good example. In that photo, she's front of shot, you can make out Judy Murray who can actually say she's achieved something. She's managed her son's career and he's won grand slams. Katrien has overseen some misplaced garage being pumped out the bars in the north stand and installed a bloody sofa in a football ground. Judy Murray is a success and a good example for young women to aspire to, KM is massively out of her depth and shouldn't be lauded as a successful young woman in business.

Credit her achievements in Law, but that's for her family and friends to celebrate. Hold her up a successful business woman in the public is actually a joke.

Cabbles, the Nightmeire would be, if her boss thinks she's doing a good job?
The fact that she hasn't been sacked, tell me she is carrying out his remit.

That is so crazy, that each new day brings more surreal nonsense.

I bet the club are glad they relieved Louis of his reporting duties as its now just come back to bite them on the bum massively, no conflict of interest in getting this story out there in the national press without fear of retribution.

Big fat pat on the back for the person who made the call.
