Bolton. Interesting new bidder around. London based. But foreign cash. And with Prem experience. Want a quick answer.0 -
Hopefully not Varney's bunch looking elsewhere2

There can't be too many buyers hunting around the bargain bin of relegation zone in the Championship.0 -
they are now forming a trust

Surely this is a good time for us to do a bit of poaching of Championship expereinced stalwarts cheaply.1

Do they get a points deduction if they go into administration?0
-
Sorry of course they get a 10!pointvdeduction, I knew that I guess and earlier posts confirm.0

Which would by default leave us as the shittest team in the championship.Alwaysneil said:Sorry of course they get a 10!pointvdeduction, I knew that I guess and earlier posts confirm.

according to local TV they are preparing to sell the car park, maybe the trading ground and possibly a couple of the better players. The current owner is prepared to carry the historical dept but will not finance current running of the club.0

Is Dervite fit? If we could get him on loan, worth a gamble?0

I'm not sure CAFC will be an attractive proposition even to a Bolton player!6

If they get relegated this year, which appears to be a certainty, the 10point deduction begins next year right?Alwaysneil said:Sorry of course they get a 10!pointvdeduction, I knew that I guess and earlier posts confirm.
Isn't there a peculiar rule that in the event that a 10 point deduction has no effect on the overall ranking of a team, that the punishment is offset to the next season?
Either that, or if the administration occurs past a specific date (March sticks in my mind?) it occurs in the following season?0 -
I keep seeing 10 point deduction mentioned and I am sure I have read that it is now 12 points0

If two more clubs as well as Bolton could go into administration, it might help3

An Ipswich supporting colleague today told me they are 80 million in debt - quite a surprise.0

Heard that too a while ago. If they don't get promoted, it's only a matter of time until they implode. They charge a lot for away fans too, I believe.The_President said:An Ipswich supporting colleague today told me they are 80 million in debt - quite a surprise.

According to BBC Sport, "The Championship club are £172.9m in debt and under a transfer embargo for breaching Financial Fair Play rules".The_President said:An Ipswich supporting colleague today told me they are 80 million in debt - quite a surprise.
They've avoided an immediate winding-up order from HMRC (who are owed £2.2m) until end of Feb:

Not a great place to be unless they can find a buyer willing to write off £173,000,000........
