I've thought for a while the best people to give Mayweather trouble are the following

    Danny Garcia
    Amir Khan
    Manny Pacquiao

And I thought the de la Hoya fight was a draw

    However

He will win over 12 rounds and I've backed him

    Like buying money

Although Manny looks in good shape and has been the far more relaxed of the 2 this week he has nothing to lose and I really don't think he'll cause Mayweather undue problems I think he'll come put like a bat out of hell to back Floyd up then I believe Floyds size and conditioning will tell and he will pick Manny apart

Reallistically what time is the fight going to actually start, I struggle to stay up To watch match of the day, let alone the middle of the night?

Should have gone all Boyz II Men with Mrs ASDA 18 months ago, the 4-5am wouldn't be so daunting. Only yourself to blame pal.

Honestly can't believe you would put Khan in that category @Carter . You out tomorrow pal?

Speed mate, Khan is fast enough but concentration is his problem. If he focuses he causes him problems if he doesn't and goes into this false warrior setting he thinks he has (not a warrior, just has no boxing poker face)

Yeah think I'm gonna drive though. Trains are screwed and im not bothered about watching Bournemouth take the piss.

Until my sanity kicks in and I realise the only way to do these fights is after a day on the lash with my mates and waking up on a train in Dover

Anyone know a site that will be streaming this? I'll be stuck at home waiting for an Ikea delivery and no tv subscription.

Ikea deliver at 4 in the morning? What is it a rubber sheet?

Mayweather in 6 .. though he might string it out until the 11th
  • One of the few occasions that living in North America actually puts a big sporting event at a more watchable time than if I was still in the UK. I'm not a massive boxing fan, just a very occasional viewer. I certainly know next to nothing about the politics of it outside the ring or the tactics inside the ring, but I do know Mayweather seems like a complete knob-end so I hope Pac wins, although the smart money seems to be on Floyd.

A mate has got the ppv package so a few us will be round his in his man-cave watching the fights, playing pool and sinking a few cheeky ones so should be a good evening whatever the fight is like.

    Can I come?

What was Froch's question? 'How can I become a complete tosser like you Floyd?'

Not a big boxing fan but I've paid for this and have backed Pacman to win in the 6th round

    Looking forward to this.

I read on the BBC website that the expected PPV audience in America is only around four million, thought it would be much higher than that.

Mayweather accused him of taking steroids that's why he wanted the blood tests.

I thought they said ok as long as Mayweather was tested as well but he refused.

Didn't think that was the case. Mayweather certainly hit a nerve when he basically accused Pac of drugs. Pac man seemed to back off and hasn't been the same fighter since, so you have to wonder.

Isn't it a very social thing over there though? So a few people might chip in.

If you are in Vegas though you can't watch unless you have a ticket into one of the casinos showing it which all sold out in minutes so quite a lot of people won't be able to see it. Very odd.

That said, in Mexico they are showing it for free on TV there. Quite refreshing.

Sorry mate, strictly invite only. Plus the air fare to Canada might make it a bit more expensive than just throwing your own party.
